Thanks for posting this Natasha.

Ok, well at least the article seems to be trying to be fair.. But I have to strongly disagree with Mr. Callahan's observations about surgery and "shame".

I can only speak for myself, but I have been absolutely happy at how things have been since surgery. In the depths of his research and book there might be some worthwhile reading, but with a broad brushed statement like that, I am doubtful.

I wish more of US would write about ourselves and our experiences.. and not just leave it up to those peeking in through the window shades to divulge the complexities of our lives.

Kind of like someone who has only seen cars driving by telling you how to re-build the transmission.

Anyway, just my two cents.. which adjusted for inflation comes to about $1.80..  ;)
