Title: new topic..scientific medical proof?
Post by: veronica06 on September 25, 2006, 01:04:18 PM
is there..anywhere...recorded medical proof...as I have sween in some...articles..regarding breast size in TS/TG?
I am told to believe....
"most will only have small B cup breasts"

but I was also told........
"your breasts are decided by the breast size of your natural mother"

now the 1st irritates me to no end.........find me a surgeon coz I am putting in implants.
the 2nd ...
ma had large breasts so I feel better about this...

There have been no medical studies regarding this, all data is from emperical reports. Studies cost money and no one wants to spend money on transsexuals.  Besides every person is different, many of my results from HRT do not follow the general consensus.

As Beth said, it's all anecdotal.

While, as mentioned, "scientific" proof is difficult to come by there are TG organizations that track things like this and do thier own research.  Hopefully this link will provide some insight into your question.

Measure under the armpits, above the area of the breasts.

Measure around the widest part of the back, straight across the fullest part of the bust. (See below for important details on our breast measurement technique)

Measure under the area of the breast.

Measure your waist approximately one inch above the navel.  This is the female natural waistline, the smallest part of her waist. During successful hormonal feminization, this will become your natural waistline.

Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Put your thumbs at your natural waist and rest your hands on your hips. The tips of your fingers should be the area at which to take the hip measurement.

Measure at a point just above the pubic area and over the area of your buttocks.

Measure the fullest area of your left upper thigh.

now why would you measure your leg???

At which point does the measuring stop?

After two years on hormones, I managed to get to an A-cup, my Mother was a D!

After Breast Augmentation in Thailand, I am a C and more than happy.

Breast development is effectively pre-programmed into our genetic blue print and we get, what we get.

The younger you start, probably the better development you may get, but the rules are not hard and fast.

Measuring..... go get it done professionally, thats the only way to be sure.

I believe that the thigh is measured in order to document how much fat redistribution is going on there.  Females tend to have fatter thighs than males.

As far as breasts are concerned - I'll get what I get when I get it, I suppose.  Then, of course, I can decide if a surgeon will be helpful or not.

hi veronica
i believe the data is that most natal women have B cup breasts
if your mother has large breasts than you may inherit larger breasts
but please keep in mind that b cups breasts is the average for natal women
