Its hot, but it has been worse. With the sun being blocked by all the smoke it wasn't all that hot here in the high desert.

What I find sort-of funny is all the celebs with plastic surgery, today isn't their day! LOL!

I work 1 mile from the beach in san diego and it's been like 85, but when I get home in temecula after 6 it's still over 100!!!

Funny, Wisconsin has four seasons too. Winter, construction, construction and construction.
We complain about all the rain we get here in Ireland. Perhaps we have something to be thankful for. When we want Sun we fly South, 'coz it never quite makes it to here.

Hmmm...but yes. yesterday was strangely cool because of the fires.
Its cleared a bunch today and feels about gone so tomorrow it will likely be nice and toasty again.
:P I wouldn't know, I'm in Iceland! We never get that UNGODLY F-ING HEAT! up here..
It's not all that bad, it was that hot in Santa Rosa, but SF will generally be about 10 or so degrees cooler, so where its going to be 85 here today, when I get to work its not going to go past 72. The more inland you are the hotter it gets, the more Coastal, the cooler, if not cold, so it should get down to 56 by the end of the show tonight. And when it gets that hot at home, we go out to the beach - not to swim, that would be deadly here, but to cool down, or if I want to swim, I have the river or the pool in my complex.
Here, these ought to cool you off.

Ah. How kind of you, Tekla... Up here in the desert we have dirt and Joshua trees and uh....dirt, yeah dirt... that's about it.
... Okay so I love it out here. Sue me! I believe you call us desert rats...
But those people down the hill can't seem to take the heat. I saw several people with parasols / Umbrellas to shade themselves from the sun as they walked over in San Bernardino. I tend not to mind the sun too much. It doesn't bother me too bad till it breaks around 105.
On the other hand, they are expecting a high of 72, low of 47 in Tahoe today, ought to be nice in the high country.
