lolli,

It is what you recieve from another member for usually good reason for participation or deed on this forum. Sometimes negitve karma is left for someone usually if they get out of hand, or refuse to follow a rule.

In your profile you will see "karma given" and "karma recieved".  Clicking on "karma given" will show any time you have "given" karma to another member of Susans.  Clicking on "karma recieved" will show information on any karma that has been given to you.

On the forum you will see both a green up arrow which is "good karma" and a red down arrow which is "bad Karma" on other peoples post but not your own.  If you feel like someone has done or said something "good" then you can click thier perspective "green arrow" and they will recieve a "good karma point".  Similarly if someone has done or said something that you believe is worthy of bad karma you may click on thier red down arrow and they will recieve a "negative karma point".  Giving good or bad karma is strictly up to you and there are no specific reasons in which you have to do it.

I've never had any reason to give a "bad karma point" yet and I can't imagine having to with this great group of people.

I hope this helps explain the "karma" thing.....I was really confused about it myself when I joined Susans.
