Was wondering how many girls remember the first time after surgery you put on your panties and they fit as they should. No need to hide anything, tuck it away, or whatever you did. Just a smooth flat front and feel of the material on your girl parts.
For me, that day, moment, was magic! I still have my "first pair", a cute cotton pair with horizontal stripes from Victoria's Secret. I bought them for the occasion, nothing fancy, just a bikini cut with the VS logo on the band. :D
I often try to imagine what that would be like. I'm so happy for you :)
I'm waiting patiently for that magic instant myself.
Buying panties for this unique occasion is a good idea, I will keep this in mind.
;)
one thing that pisses me off is that pretty much the first "girly" thing any of us does is put on panties and yet, for me at least, all the "junk" (literally) just doesn't fit comfortably between the seams.
One of the things i MOST look forward to is panties fitting right.
This sounds like a wonderful experience that you noticed. Out of curiosity how long post op was that Jess? Seems like there would be some swelling and numbness for a while that would kinda kill the joy.
yeah, it was good to have my panties fit, and everything else fit right.
Becca it was about 4 or 5 days post -op after the packing was removed. I was still swollen and things didn't "look right" if you know what I mean. As time goes on, things heal and the they begin to look normal. I wore that pair a second time about 6 months later and they looked and felt even better :P
These days I still tend to wear bikini panties more than other styles, but I have a few pairs of v-strings and one or two thongs. For those "special" occasions I have a pair of white lace and black lace. If a guy gets to see them, they won't be on for long ;)
I did think about that as I was packing for my trip. I did pack a couple pair of my better panties in addition to the regular briefs I usually wear.
Just after my discharge I was still very swollen and spotting fairly heavily. I didn't want to ruin one of my better panties then. So I went with my regular cotton briefs. The sensation was a bit odd. I still didn't have that much sensation and I was swollen so much that I felt like I *was* tucking. But I no longer had to worry about things falling out or sitting on something sensitive.
It took several weeks for the swelling to go down completely and I had a chance to really admire how my panties fit.
They fit great!

For me, having panties fit properly was nice but not a big event. I enjoyed more slipping into some tight low-rise jeans and having those look perfect. That was cool.
Not wearing any at all

Don't forget about wearing thongs!
They do take a bit to get used to, but they do feel nice!

Thirded. Next to facial structure/hair, this is the most irritating thing to deal with!
