Title: Something I Say To Friends 'Bout Str8 People!
Post by: Inphyy on September 05, 2009, 12:11:59 AM
They always say gays are ->-bleeped-<-gots and don't think straight...Well straight people have drama and take sharp curves; So...I'd say I am as straight comes, because I have the knowledge to keep going on the road straight ahead.  ;)

(This can also go with transgendered people and lesbians as well! :))

LOL! ;)

Just a phrase I made up, not to be taken literally! =-]

It's just sad that "normal" people think that by someway of being straight and "normal" that they are better then everyone else---Despite their sh*t and drama! :3

Everyone thinks they are better than everyone else.  A recent poll here had a solid 90%+ responding that they were 'above average intelligence' which, is obviously, not true.

In case of transgendered people, who is straight and who is homosexual ?
For example, I am lesbian, therefore homosexual, but MTF, therefore seen as "straight" by uninformed people.
I also had a long, deep relation with another MTF, whom I see as another woman, which probably makes me "gay" in the eyes of the same uninformed people... and at the same time, lesbian.
What a mess...

It might not be as far from the mark as you think, a lot of the people here have had to deal with a lot of emotional issues and had trouble with society. I think this can push people to a more mature understanding of the ways they can live their lives to maximise their happiness and the happiness of those around them. What is more intelligent than making people happy?

and in response to the first post i have my own saying about st8 people

"I dont mind straight people as long as they keep it to themselves, if they wanna be straight then they should do it in the privacy of their own home and not be grossing out the general public!"

What is more intelligent than making people happy?

Understanding the many psychological necessities of man and embracing the fact that you can't be happy "all" of the time.

Actually, as a straight(-ish?) person myself, I agree.  I don't like to see slobbery bedroom antics in public either - of any orientation.  Why would I want to watch other people eat each others face?  "Get a room" is a phrase that springs to mind.

Good point, how silly of me to ignore all those audio warnings...

"You are about to encounter people kissing on the bus/at the table opposite - if you don't like it, look away now".  Of course, they're snogging rights are paramount, how could I be so selfish? :)
