The expectations of Deepika about her future partner are no different from most others. But she has something more to add: "He should not feel ashamed to take me out and introduce me as his wife to his friends and relatives. He should shower me with love and affection which I am deprived of at my home."
The 23-year-old is among a handful who have posted their profiles on www.thirunangai.net (http://www.thirunangai.net), said to be the first exclusive matrimonial website for transgenders. The website, launched only a few days ago, has received tremendous response, as men from across the globe are sending in their queries, says Kalki, a transgender who has designed the portal.
