Well it has been two weeks now since I started hrt. My wife says I am more calm and loving. She says now I am not an ass hole. All I know is I truly feel more at peace mentally than I ever have. I am still disgusted with my male parts but time is a wonderful thing as this is a long journey. My wife has also said that we are better friends now than we ever have been. Thank you Susan for such a wonderful place to meet people with the same issues and that we all can share our victories and defeats with...as well as get advice from. My wife and I also just picked out my name so...ttfn.
Wow! That is awesome, Kira! It's when I read posts like these that I want to tear down all those societal blocks erected in my mind and jump right into HRT! An inspiring post, definitely.
Yay Kira, it's your day! That's fantastic your wife is sticking with you, genetic girls who don't close off seem to find our experiences quite amusing, it should be a trip for you both 8) So are you gonna tell us what you picked pweassse?
Well Becca, since you asked sooo nicely we decided on Kellsie Renee. We both agreed it was a name we both liked and could live with wink wink. Any way I hope everyone has a great week.
The first time you hit your boob on something, she is probably going to laugh at you. Don't get mad at her! I was with a friend at school the first time that happened and lordy lou I thought I was dying...and she still gives me a hard time about it.
That's a coolio avatar Calliope, where is it from?
That's great news... Usually the wife is breaking up and divorcing.
Yours is supportive, that's truly magnificent.
Good luck on your long journey... May your wife stick together with you, as you are going to end up being a same-sex couple.

Thanks, Becca! It's from Lori Earley's work. http://www.loriearley.com/home/index.php (http://www.loriearley.com/home/index.php) One day, I will be rich and famous and able to afford one of her original pieces. ::sigh::
That's a cute name, Kira! Er...Kellsie! I wish you and your wife the best.
