It has been a tough month but it appears my family is adjusting to my coming out as FtM. At first I only received insults and arguments but now things in the house have calmed. I no longer am asked to take off my guy clothes or to stop binding. They have allowed me to wear pretty much whatever I want and are accepting of me.
Working on pronouns is still a must, but not something I'm going to ram down their throats at the moment. My parents have been adapting well, and quick. In fact today ended up as a rather good day. My dad took me out shopping in the men's department and helped me pick out some new clothes since I have a limited selection of my own.
I still need to get myself a proper binder. The ones I've made need to be worn together to work right and I need to wash them almost every day with it being summer.
Anywho... baby steps.
Now I need to finish off my degree and find a therapist.
tis good to hear good news. I'm glad things are progressing well for you when it comes to your family accepting you.
Yes. It has put me in a much better mood as of late.

I am glad I reread your post because I was going
to advise against ramming it down their throats.
YEAH, baby steps
yes baby steps! ... but I can't say baby steps anymore without thinking of the film 'What About Bob'
Kamren Congratulations, that is great. Slow steps forward are better than standing still or going backward.
Cheers,
Myles
COngrats Kamren, that sounds great! Sounds like they will come around, just give them time. :)
