I can't help it. Football season starts and I'm there. I also notice that the NFL Store sells girlie stuff :icon_chick:
If I ever hook up with someone they better be ready to take a tall blond to some games
What sports are you into?
This is making weird sense in hindsight... but soccer is about the only sport I have fun playing and watching. I like watching the superbowl or the olympic hockey, but random football/hockey/basketball doesn't hold my interest. And forget about baseball altogether.
I like watching ice skating too but I get that from my parents ;).
Oh, and in my current city, football is a genderless sport. When I went to get my hair cut during playoffs all the ladies in the salon were talking about the previous night's game. In this city you're either a fan or a second-class citizen :P.
I love football and basketball. March Madness it one of my favorite times of the year. While in Cambodia I watched a lot of soccer, but since I am cable free I can;t get many games these days.My SO is left wondering what to do, she is not a sports fan at all. If they came up with a professional book reading league she could definitely make the pros.
Cheers,
Myles
I will watch any sport on TV , but rarely watch baseball and hockey.

Lots of places are like that - plenty of college towns, the big time ones are like that, as are Philly, NY, SF, Chicago. And they do sell plenty of 'girls' cut and sized merch.
I got tickets 4 the oct 18 game. raiders vs eagles. 8) 8) 8)
GO RAIDERS! whoo hoo :D :D :icon_boxing: :icon_boxing: :icon_drunk: :icon_drunk:

The only two sports I enjoy are glass-lifting and horizontal wrestling.
Actually, that's not entirely honest.
I'm a swimmer, or I used to be. I got asked to join the town's swim team even, but I never got along well with the other girls in the locker-room so I just couldn't be arsed.
I haven't been to the pool in about two years now, I just can't bring myself to do it. It's too much. My partner has suggested it a couple of times, and I find myself dying to hit the pool, it's just across the street from me, but I can't face the women's locker room anymore and I wouldn't be allowed in the men's.
I also like to watch Icelandic off-road races.
Here's a vid featuring one of my favorite drivers:
Guðmundur Pálsson Torfæra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-nuvPyprNE#)
And an absolutely brilliant clip from Top Gear's visit to Iceland:
Richard Hammond's Iceland Buggy Trip - Top Gear - BBC (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oeJjzdlTuI#ws)
Hmm. Don't like to watch sports. Don't like to participate in all sports.
I like running, so track and field. How exciting, no? Soccer's alright too.

I think I've fallen in love with icelandic off road racing, thanks Miniar, great clips.
On reflection, as a sport gets more and more professional the more boring they get. I like to watch and be in competition. Professional sport is not about competition, it's about winning and I think I'm losing interest.
To expand, I work hard and my research work is competitive, for leisure I may watch sport etc on TV. What do I have? competitive cooking, reality survival of ten different types. Compete to have sex with a Bachelor, Farmer etc etc. Professional sport at every level; infant to adult. Pro modelling for kindies. Why cannot we have competition without the emphasis being put on winning?
Heretic >:-)

I'm not at all sporty. Aside from a very few major events, I don't watch any sport (or any tv at all for that matter). I certainly don't play any sports - unless you count the Wii? :) hehe

Ya'know, I've never understood why one would play videogames for excercise.

The "other" football (soccer) and I have watched a bit of local roller derby too. Good times.
