Title: Putting pictures of yourself - How ?
Post by: eshaver on September 14, 2009, 10:20:24 AM
Uh , Im not very good with computers to start with . Still in some way I have managed to find ways to put a picture of myself in several of the forums I belong to as each one seems to have a different quirk. I have a Photo bucket account so if that helps , please someone here let me know what the secret formula is . Ellen Shaver

When you write a post there are little icons above the field where you write.
To the far left, just below the B is a button with a photograph.
If you click that button it'll give you the accurate "code" for the image.
If you right click the image in photobucket and choose "copy image link" (or something like that) you'll get the direct link to the image itself (as opposed to the image on the website).
If you put that link inside the code that you get when you press the button {img}link{/img} (only they don't look like {} but like []), the image will show up in your post.
You can use preview to know if you're doing it right.

I think they want to add it to their profile...

Follow instructions.
