Hi,
I am Ellie a mtf who has been on hormones for a long time, living full time in a backward area of the country that would have a hard time understanding if they knew who they were really seeing.  I will be 60 my next birthday, look like I am in my 40's, but act like I am a teenager.  I am a disabled Vietnam veteran but you would never know it to look at me.  I have more fun doing wild and crazy things that any insane person is really allowed to.. giggle..  I live alone, take total care of myself, am not in any type of relationships, but have some wonderful friends, love traveling, plan on moving to San Francisco next summer and sharing a house with two ladies that I have known for 12 years.  My parents and siblings have totally rejected me and I have not had contact with them in 25 years, but the 85 yr old mother of my friends in SF has told me that I am her adopted daughter and she is always checking on me, sending me cards, and treats me as if I was her daughter even though she knows my life story.  It doesn't make any difference to her.  If anyone wants to know more about me I will be happy to say more.

Hi Ellie...

I would just like to add my welcome to Susans!

60 is no age at all and you will find many people here that are in various stages of their own personal journey.

Please feel free to ask any questions, sit back and wait for the replies to flood in.

I am English, 4 years post op and I transtioned (MTF aged 38). I have relatives in Ca, Sacramento in fact, but the last time I went to San Fransisco, there was an Earthquake, so give me plenty of notice when you move, I will be sure to keep away.

Enjoy your stay at Susans.

Buffy
