Police on Sunday arrested a man convicted of killing a transgendered prostitute after he failed to report to his halfway house.
Jatin Patel, 35, was the subject of a Canada-wide arrest warrant after failing to check in last week. Patel -- a.k.a. "Little J" -- was convicted of manslaughter for the 2003 slaying of a 40-year-old transgendered prostitute in North Vancouver.
Patel's parole conditions state he is not allowed to be in or near locations where prostitutes work.
