I used to have terrible skin. I mean really bad. Mostly on my face. I spent eleven years working in some of the dirtiest environments and it had taken its toll on me. The worst was working in a foundry. I had to work in an underground area that was subject to extreme heat, very abrasive molding sand, scalding hot steam and flying bits of molten iron. After that I worked in very oily machine shops and my most recent job was with laser. My skin was constantly bombarded with 2,500 watt class C laser radiation ten to twelve hours a day.
As a result the abuse had left discolored spots on my face and age had left many lines around my eyes. So a friend of mine got me started on a skin care regimen that included Deep cleansing, Microderm abrasion, age fighting moisturizing lotion, SPF nourishing cream, anti aging eye serum, and night time age fighting serum.
I started using it a few months before I started laser. With in a few weeks I started noticing that my skin was much smother and softer. I also noticed that my makeup went on smother and I didn't have to use near as much. It also lasted longer. After two months most of the blemishes were gone and the lines were drastically diminished.
Finally I got in for my very first laser session and I went in with very low expectations. I was only expecting to see maybe a five to ten percent reduction in facial hair. I got there and had my consultation and the the laser tech complemented me on how clear my skin was. She told me that I would have excellent results but she didn't make and guesses as to how much the first session would clear.
Here is how my skin looked before using any skin care products.

Here is how thick my beard was before laser

And here is my face now, more then eight hours after shaving. This is after only one laser session.

I used to have to use very thick makeup like Panstick by Max Factor Or CoverFX from Sephora and even then the coverage didn't last and looked caked on. Now I use a very a little bit of pinkish concealer to hide the dark spots that are still left then cover it with a light foundation.
I couldn't be happier! Next session is Monday and I'm so excited. One of my friends who is a beauty consultant is going with me and we plan on doing a skin care class. It's going to be in Indianapolis Indiana on Monday the 21st of September, 2009. If your interested in attending let me know and I'll give times and location. It's totally free so no need to buy anything.
