Anybody seen or tried a way to trim/wax their hair to better resemble a masculine hairline and/or sideburns? I know it's different for different types of hair and face shapes, but I'm hoping for some inspiration and would really value some input.
Sideburns grew in kinda but light brown so I dyed them a darker brown. Don't know if you have anything to dye.
Hmmm, I don't know about the hairline. It might turn out looking tacky but hair grows back. You could give it a go.
As for sideburns, I've heard someone trying rogaine and being successful but it seems like a really risky thing to do around that specific area. I wouldn't do it. But sideburns can be faked, sort of, if you let your hair grow down a little and square it off. I wouldn't expect you'd be able to do something like mutton chops, but you'd be able to extend it a little.
I found the best way was to cut the hair there about half a centimeter long. At first it needed wax to keep the hairs pointing down, but after a month or so it was a-ok.
Just squaring them off as low as possible will make them look much more masculine. Length (down the face) isn't as important as shape.
Pays to keep in mind that long sideburn hairs are not a good way to get length. They just look supid.
