Title: Intro to lisa
Post by: lisadear on September 27, 2009, 12:26:43 PM
Hi I'm a 32 yr trans-woman. I've been on and off DIY mones the last two years. I'm still in the closet, though I do have AA breasts. Need to take the courage to really come out and live how I've felt I should for so many years. I now know the difference between T dominance and E dominance and love E so much better! My set backs are 1st being married, and second being 6'4" tall. Looking to get out of the shadows and get support.
thanks,
lisa

Greetings Lisa,

Marriage may be a set back but not necessarily. Height isn't either as I  know a number of cis women over 6 foot tall. Courage and good luck.

Welcome, Lisa.  I hope you can move forward.

DIY mones can be dangerous.  I hope for your sake that you can work with a qualified physician to do hormones.

We all go about this differently.  My first step was counseling, to gain support.  So coming here for support is an important first step for you.  And there can be a lot of support here. :)

I felt that I needed to come out of the closet before proceeding with any physical modifications - hormones or laser or electrolysis.  I didn't want anyone to notice any changes and then begin wondering.  It's worked pretty well for me, but of course YMMV.

Good luck to you.

- Kate

Hi Lisa, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 3200 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Blessed Be.
Janet

Hi Lisa, :icon_wave:

Welcome from the UK! :icon_bunch:

Being tall does present a unique set of challenges...

...but once you start looking, it's surprising how many of us tall girls are about these days.. :icon_wink:
