Title: Anyone else see "Grizzly Man"?
Post by: Bellaon7 on September 29, 2009, 07:59:15 PM
A sane person could not have got this kind of incredible footage, but I think his girlfriend definately should have not been allowed/encouraged by him to be there & she definately wasn't very happy the whole time.

Well, there you go. A sane person would not do what he did. He didn't exactly do anything immediatly good for bears or people, but just looking at the video he got, removed from any kind of context, is amazing in & of itself.

Another case of people thinking they are too smart for their own good, no wilderness training, no survival background.  Lucky he made it that far.

I watched it in one of my film classes a while ago.

I really enjoyed it but it was a terribly sad ending.

The images and scenes were amazing though all the terrain and clips that he recorded.

I've seen the film several times.  I think the girlfriend was there because she sensed he was suicidal and was trying to save him.
