So just going about my daily thing yesterday and I went past a surf shop and i thought to myself "I need some new shoes". So i went in looked for the pair i wanted, went and got sombody to help me with sizes. She asked "what size shoe are you?" I had no idea!!! So she just said by the look of your foot i would say a 11....... 11!!!! holy sh*t!!!! So she goes and grabs a 11, i try it on..... its rlly rlly rlly tight.... :'( So it ends up turning out my feet are quite big even for a male standards (Size 13), just like my shoulders.... just like EVERYTHING else :'(
So i was interested. what size are you feet?
11 if they are wide, otherwise a 12. But I still can find some cute shoes. ;D
Janet
Usually 10, but sometime I can fit a 9.
~Sarah
I think I am a 9 or 10 :icon_neutral:

8.5 Generally, Sometime an 8, sometimes a 9 but most of the time it is 8.5
I'm a size 16 wide wide wide wide wide wide...
I hate you all :P.
Well I guess I must be extremly lucky as I am a size 7 and have been known to fit into a size 6 so I have really small feet by male standards, he'll I'm just small in general!!
Hugs,
April
Size 10, but it depends! Sometimes, an 11, although they're usually loose!

Ouch!!!
Oh are male and female shoes sizes different???? Because im talking male size shoes.... Oh no!!!! I might be bigger in female shoes!!! ARHHHHHH :P
I'm a woman's size 13, but can occasional squeeze into a cute pair of 12's. Feet you got a little smaller since hormones. If you want to try some 13 womens go to Payless. If you can't fit into them, try barefoottess.com for size 14 .
I'm not sure if men's and women's shoe sizes are different. I was a size 10 in men's and am still pretty much a size 10 in women's.

Yeah somehow I ended up the same way. Wish I was a 9 but I'm okay with it :).

I found that a size 10 mens is about a the same as a 10 womans, they are close. I mean, I wear a 8.5 or 9 mens, and wear anywhere between a 9 and a 10 womans. Really depends on the shoe.

if you choose the right kind, they dont look quite so much like boats.....
I think it's ok to have big feet. Taller people, bigger feet. One of my friends (genetic female) is 6'1" and she wears size 11 womens. Doesn't look weird on her.
I wore a 9 or 9.5 mens, but my feet are narrow so I've been wearing women's shoes for years. (Narrow men's shoes are expensive.) I could usually find women's shoes that looked like men's if I was wearing men's clothes. (I was always a bit effeminate anyway.)
Now I just wear the cute shoes for women - size 11B, US (42 Euro). And they make lots of cute shoes in 11.
Sigh. So many shoes, so little time... ;)

I can't find any flats that don't make my feet look big (at least to me). Even with heels I feel like I need to always have round toe - pointy toe or almond toe make them look big.

I'm an 8 in womens and a 6 in mens. It's funny because for the longest time I wore like...a size 10 in mens just because I had that hyper-masculinity thing going on. The shoes were way too big for my feet but back then I forced myself to pretend I was manlier. Upon retrospect it's pretty silly.
9 to 10 yea im pretty self conconcious

The shape of the toe makes a big difference. My feet (11) are too big for pointy toes. I knew a woman who wore size 5 and had a pair of pointy-toed shoes that made her feet look huge. (Size five women's is definitely not huge.)
The size of the vamp makes a big difference, too. (The vamp is the upper part of the shoe and defines the opening that you put your foot into.) I have proportionally longer torso and shorter legs than many women, so I want a low vamp (large opening) to make my legs look longer. Try it - it makes a
big difference. (Or at least it does in my vain little mind. ::))

I am lucky, I am a British size 8, European size 42, and can get shoes in most styles. I still avoid tight trousers and flats as I am afraid of looking like a golf club. Shoe sizes in the UK are supposed to be standardised, there is a British standard, but some retailers market a European size 41 as a UK size 8 which is annoying as a size 41 equates to a UK size 7.5!!!

Is that you in your avatar, Teena? :o WOW.
in other news, I'm a size 9 to 9 1/2 in both men and women's. yeah, some bio females have big feet too.
I wear a 7 mens (or did) and 7.5 to 8 woman's shoe.
I'm unusual....I'm very petite!
I'm 6' 1" and wear a size 11 in women's, I'm a 9 1/2 in men's. my closed toe shoes were killing me because I kept getting ingrown nails. I went to a podiatrist last spring to have them permantly removed. The doctor was getting pissed off because I kept coming in wearing really cute heels. Turned out she is a size 12 but has to buy 13's alot. She kept insisting my feet were bigger than hers and then she started in about me wearing 5 inch heels. I buy most of my heels at Target or from Frederick's of Hollywood. Frederick's has several cute styles that go to a size 13.
as a 5'7" biological female, i wore 10.5 US in mens which is a 12 in womens. i really dont think you need to be embarrassed by your feet. it happens to bio girls too. even shorter ones! :P its no big deal. :) (pun - intended or no?)
that was pre-t, now i wear 12 in mens. :o
I'm lucky in that department and I have fairly small feet with a size 7.

O_o same exactly here! at least if you are talking about 8 US women size ^^
Sometimes maybe even 7.5 it seems.. or 7.. depends on the shoe it seems. usually more 7.5 than the rest.
I'm a size 12 mens 13 womens. I used to be bothered by it but I'm sooo over it now. But as a side note, what you wear with the shoes can either conceal or make your feet look bigger. For instance I would never wear skinny jeans because the taper of the leg would accentuate the size of my feet.
OMG Mischa I'm exactly the same size. Although I do have a few women's size 12 that I squeeze into. Boot cut jeans usually hide my feet pretty well.
Women's size 10-11 regular or wide for either size... it depends on the shoe. And flats make my feet look like big boats :(. So I stick to tennies or 2-3 inch casual heels.
Sid
Lisadear, I wear boot cut or flair leg pants/jeans most of the time...If I have to dress up I wear a wide leg pant from Express with my Dansko clogs...I don't wear flashy girls shoes like heels. Its just not my style...though I did try them out during the earlier stages of transition...OUCH!!!! ;)
I looove bootcut jeans, they're all I wear. I could probably do straight leg if they were really nice, but skinny leg is out of the question. Flared pants are a little too... flared :P.
9, 10, and 11's are pretty common women's sizes here, especially with younger women. My gf's shoe size is 10-11, depending on the brand. I live with two other women here, and one is 9-10 and the other is also 10-11. I'm 9-10, I usually get 10 'cause I like the comfort. Other women I've dated have been around 9-10, and I know a lot of women are like that around here. Then again, women all seem to be taller around here for some reason, too. *shrugs*
I wore over sized guy shoes too, but now I wear size 8 guy sneakers that look unisex and small! I get 9-10 in fem size but hopefully I'll get some foot shrinkage (width pushes me up to size 10 sometimes) to keep them down at 9 fem. Note: 5'10.

True. I have a friend who is almost identical to me in clothing sizes -- she's the same height, about the same weight, has the same shoe size, etc. She does have smaller hands.
Kate -- true, there are cute shoes in size 11 -- but there are a LOT MORE cute shoes in size 10. I usually fit 11, but some of my shoes are 10's (where 11's in the same style were simply too big). I wore 9 or 9.5 in men's. I wonder if there might be some size inflation happening in women's shoes just as there has been in clothing sizes.
10 in womens 8 in mens. <<grins>>
Size 12
I am apparently English size 10 EEE I have to normally buy size 11 but find sometimes they are too narrow. This is size 13 in the US or 45/46 in Europe.
I went shopping today anfd tried on a pair of boots at Evans they were 10EEE and a better fit than the size 11 heels I was wearing. They are also priced cheaply.
They also have a lovely range of clothes in larger sizes for us big girls.
I must also say that Evans is very T friendly and the sales staff very helpful. I am not what you would call passable but the girls never even blinked an eye. It made me feel kinda special
I was an 8.5 in men's and take an 8 or sometimes even a 7.5 in womens (UK sizes).
Susan
My feet are quite big, they're UK size 12 (US 12 and a half, Europe 46 and a half0.
Let's see, if its open toe shoes, I can wear 10's. If it's anything closed, rarely can I wear 10 wides, most times I go with 11's though. All because of one toe on my left foot that is longer than the same toe on the right foot. ???
Dawn
I range from a 39 - 41 generally; all depends on width....I have hobbit feet, not long but wide......think of little flippers!!
Althought I say my feet are 8.5, actually my left is an 8 so there's a bit of difference in size between the sides.
Susan
I reported my shoes size to be 7.5 (US) womens (41 UK), and I can wear regular width. Although, wides are more comfortable, depending upon the shoe style. Heels - wides. Open toes - regulars. Feet - you stand on them!
i wear a womens 12 med
Before hormones I was like, a 9-9.5. Now I'm a 10-10.5 or 11, depends on how the shoe is made and the brand of the shoe. Some say that hormones don't make your hands or feet grow. For me, it did. I have to take them in wide too. OMGoshness, it's crazy! I used to be puny but now I'm huge.
I wear a 9.5 or 10 womens, about a 9 mens.
For anyone who cares, Heidi Klum (according to her modeling agency IMG), she is 5'9.5" and wears a size 10US shoe. Tall women wear bigger shoes (usually). Nothing to worry about.

Mine are about the same size
I'll trade you all my tiny feet....I wear a 6 mens/7.5 womens. Usually requires a trip to the boys section...ugh.
I have a gay friend who likes to dress up as a woman sometimes - just fun stuff, not serious. (The natural beard and purple yarn wig don't make for a convincing presentation. ::))
When a woman in his church found out (he did a little skit in some outrageous outfit), she said she'd give him her old shoes. They both wear women's US 14, which can be hard to find. :D
- Kate
I wore a 7 1/2 to 8 in male shoes, I now wear a 9 - 10 female........that is Aust, same sizing as UK.
