Okay I just wanted to see who liked who as the final boss
My favorite Final Boss is Chaos from Final Fantasy 1, why?

Chaos is Garland, it was also the only time in the series that the first boss was also the Final Boss, and besides that, Chaos just looks cool

and His boss music is to me one of the best final boss themes ever.

I want to say Cloud of Darkness simple because it's the only female/genderless final boss but have to say meh because of lack of character development in FF3. I would then say Sephiroth, but he isn't as well defined unless you're paying attention to the side quests, so I'll vote for Genesis because I like Crisis Core's story best after 7 (I haven't played 12 or Before Crisis)

Final Fantasy VII is the greatest game I have ever played, so the answer for me has to be Sephiroth.

As much as I enjoyed VIII, X, X-2 and XII I still think one of the best final boss battles was VII's 
Most of the final fights really just seem like a let down after it.

I have 4, 5, & 6 but never bothered finishing them.

Although I didn't really like the actual fight, my favorite villain is Kefka from FF6.  He's just the perfect raving psychopath and I loved his little laugh :)

Either Sephiroth or Kefka.

One of the first things I intend to do after top surgery (and some exercise, heh) is cosplay the most convincing Sephiroth I can manage. Why? Because it's one of those odd, long-time dreams I've always had...kind of like hang-gliding....

I already have the custom leather coat, the boots, and the pauldrons are in progress in my garage...mwahahaha!

But really, the Final Fantasy franchise has very badly developed bad guys.  There are so many games with so many better enemies.

No it doesn't. give me all the reasons FF7 desevers to be over rated and I can counter them. Also FF9 is a great game, awesome music and Ziadane/Vivi who doesn't love them, and for all of you who haven't played FF13 yet, GET IT NOW, make sure to get it on the PS3 if you have a PS3 and 360, PS3 verision is better. BEST FINAL FANTASY SO FAR

I'm enjoying it so far (on PS3), but I'm only 5 hours in.  I love that little chocobo in Sazh's hair he's so cute :)

I voted Sephiroth,

Mainly because I thought he was the best out of the choices listed.

I much prefered Edea (not Ultimecia) from FF8 and  Sin from FFX to the rest of the bosses from the games.

I've played 13; it was very meh. FF7, while not the greatest game I've ever played (that's Chrono Trigger), is very close, and is certainly my favorite Final Fantasy.

I voted Sephiroth from FF7...but I'm one of those that did every side quest I could, so it drew his character out a bit more.

Chrono Trigger?  Awesome game.  Definitely on par with FF6, which was my personal favorite of the FF series.

I put down Yu Yeon, simply because I've always loved the story in FFX and it just seemed like a fitting end.

If I had to go by game play alone, I'd have to say Neo ExDeath, was REALLY fun for me.

Me and a friend were utterly addicted to 7 and i have alot of fond memories of just talking through the night while playing it :) Sephiroth was just the best villain ever. ive played  7, 8, 9, 10 and X2 to completion. i liked the bad guy from 9 too - Kuja. the way he just went bezek and destroyed the entire planet. the very last fight in 7 was a nice touch where its just cloud and sephiroth, the limit bar just fills up while their looking at each other then he slices him to bits, loved it :D
tbh i love all the FF's ive played - none have really let me down yet.

I love Final Fantasy 6. It is one of the best stories ever of the series.  Kefka has to be the worst villain ever.  The guy murders the entire kingdom of Dome by poisoning the water.  He intakes all of the magictie he can find because the "angel of death".  Other than his quirkiness, he is one bad villain.

Definitely Kefka, he was just plain nuts. Final Fantasy 6 is definitely my favorite game in the series.   

Ultimecia is my favorite because shes the only female villain but also because I think she's possibly the strongest villain too. Everyone else might might locate themselves in space or the centre of the earth, but only Ultimecia resides in the future and plots to compress the past, presant, future and all of space into a single moment to recreate all of reality and rule as a Goddess XD Could any of the other villains possibly top that? FF8 is also my altime favorite FF because the plot and level design was so beautiful and intricate, the GF system was great and FF8 was the first (and best) to have CARD GAMES! 8D

PS: I can get 100 curagas before the Timber mission which becomes over 5000 HP tho I prefer to pop it into Vitality, increasing it to over 120.

PPS: If anyone wants, I can tell you how to aquire Lionheart on disk 1 :)

Only villain who i can forsee rivaling Ultimecia would be Kefka because he assimilates Godly power that possibly surpasses Ultimecia and actually succeeds in defacing the earth, loved his characteristic laugh and his awesome jester look. However his evil plot was simply mindless destruction whereas Ultimecia had the entire universe and all of time on her wishlist ;D

I think Sephiroth is really cool, love the sword and the trenchcoat and his hairstyle was my childhood crush, however, hes an angsty emo compared to a professional antagonist like Ultimecia and Kefka ;D
