Anyone have experience with Mango Products' pack-and-pee device--the one that straps on with a harness and has a urethral tube and you can use it at a urinal? It looks great and I want one but I don't know how well it works. Does anyone here have one?
I don't have one but I have heard a lot of negative reviews by ftms, saying that it doesn't seem to fit well. The Pissin Passin Packer from djknowsdicks.com is what I'm going to try first, it's cheaper and comes in more sizes and designs and has a bunch of testimonials on the site... might not be totally unbiased but they showed negative ones too and they seemed to be mostly issues with size and not functionality.
I wish that I could remember the brand name... I tried such a device. And it did not work. I wet all over myself. Very little of the stream ended up where the device pointed. I had hoped to take it with me back packing and on road trips where it would be really convenient..... you know, those times when you need to pee in a cup? :-\
Now, my anatomy is not quite the same as yours, being engineered you know. ;)

You can get a Travel Mate for $5.95.
A lot cheaper than Mango and the like, and performs the same function.
I've heard mixed reviews about the Mango. It seems to depend a lot on your anatomy. One way of testing it out cheaply is to try a baby's medicine spoon. It's got the same end that a Mango uses.
I've also heard mixed reviews on DJ's STP. Probably the same reason. It also uses a medicine spoon, I think. but a different one than the Mango.
Let us know if you do try it out. I still have the medicine spoon in my bathroom and haven't tried it yet. A travelmate works well, but is a bit bulky to carry around and you certainly couldn't use a urinal with it.

I have a medicine spoon that only works sometimes, and have a Travelmate arriving soon to try. If the tip of that works better, I might get another and try to modify my normal Mango with it.
Also, neither the mango nor dj's uses an actual medicine spoon, it's something specially made and supposedly shaped better.
The DJ one looks better and is cheaper--thanks, Mikko (can I call you Will?), I think I'll try that out. My mom's giving me the money for it--what a great mommy!
'Course you can call me Will.
Let me know how if it works for you, I've got my eye on that one too.
BTW, does anyone know of a hard packer that isn't too big to wear in everyday situations under clothes? A lot of them are just freakin' huge...
I've heard good things about:
http://www.transitionprosthetics.com/Intro.html (http://www.transitionprosthetics.com/Intro.html)
But this is his second go around in business and the first time he wound up taking a lot of people's money and not coming up with anything. I don't know if he's made it right with those people.
Dennis
I've seen the Transitional Prosthetics stuff but it's a bit expensive. Has anyone tried Bendy from Early2Bed?
I have the dj's packer, and yeah, it works... after some getting used to. It looks really realistic, and it's comfortable to wear. I'd go with that... I checked out the mango one before, but it didn't look the slightest bit real, and it's about 15 bucks more. I'd go with the dj's one... and if you have any problems, as I did, dj is a pretty cool guy, and will always respond to emails to help you out.

For those who don't need the packin' function, there's also the Freshette®©™ (which you can google). 'Targeting' at the input end seems to be less precise and fidgety, as it appears to have a fairly large shaped and contoured funnel.
But, ANYBODY can stand to pee, as long as it's in the shower ;D ;D ;D
Karen
I'm waiting on a DJ's. I have a soft packer from Early To Bed. It is great, and comfortable.
Andrew, trust me, you don't want a hard packer in your pants all the time. Get the soft packy from Early To Bed, and then a hard one for "other" things. The ones made of cyberskin are the most realistic for the reciever.
Marco
Addendum;
The factory model spends 98% of its time flaccid (not to be confused with tumescent) Go soft for daily wear.
Cyberskin? I'll have to remember that when I choose dilators... ;D

I don't think it's that high of a number for a normal male Karen.
Melissa
Packy and Bendy look pretty good--I think I'll get Packy for every day and Bendy for *cough* *unintelligible*.
I saw bad reviews on bendy. There just happened to be an establishment where I was able to go into and look and "feel" the ones for "activity". Must be cyberskin.

Any suggestions on hard packers?
I was trying to remrmber what company I got this one from. I will research it and Pm you.
Marco
I just ordered my Packy from Early2Bed. Now I'm all excited and can't wait for it to come. I guess this must be what it's like for pre-op MTFs to order their boobs!

No, when you get your SRS date...
Wonderbras and such are much more obtainable, and you can go to the store and try them on for size and -- ...size. I'm A-cup now, but can be a B tomorrow >:D
Karen
I highly recommend both this item and this company. I have been to the store and bought in bulk for guys on the east coast that were getting ripped off from sellers charging as high as 100 bucks for the exact same item that should only be 15-18 bucks! This is very effected as a daily packer! Also if you have any trouble just call them, they are easy to reach and carry a lot of products and are well known in main stream and the LGBT community. The store is located in Berkeley CA and if anyone ever gets out that way it is worth a stop by.

This item comes in various sizes and you will want to order according to your build. They need to be replaced on avg. every 1 - 1.5 yrs. Please make sure to read the care instructions.
Peace,
Taylor
Their are Emperor, and King. They don't have spikes on them.

How do you explain this to your friends? :o
Yeah, I can't wait for SRS, either. Still, it's kind of fun to shop for body parts--how many guys can pick their dick out of a catalog? :D

I splurged and shipped my packy 2nd day air so it'd arrive in time for Queer Bash on campus (which is the wildest party of the year, so I might just need something that'll pass the squeeze test >:D You never know with these college girls--I've been groped at parties before and I don't want them to get a surprise...)
Spikes on them? LMAO! Too funny Tinkerbell, I needed to laugh today been working my butt off! Take care gal!
Peace
Taylor
Are you referring to the "Dotted Delight" on this page?
