Post by: Shelina on October 12, 2009, 01:27:49 AM
Even if you're a post-op and your testicles no more produces testosterone, your adrenal still produces testosterone, anyone knows how many % of testosterone does it produce in relation to your testicles? I'm exhausted searching for this info on google, someone help here please. Thanks.

Actually there is a vey good article that describe the function of the adrenal glands. Adreinal Glands (http://tuberose.com/Adrenal_Glands.html) talks about the function and the hormones that are produced.  I don't think that the amount that is produced is of great consequences.

Well adrenals produce the same amount in either sex but for men it only makes up about 5% and women it makes up about 50% of their total testosterone (the rest being from ovaries).
