I feel really repulsed when I see pictures of body builders that have taken it to the extreme. Never seen this topic posted here b4 and just interested if other people feel the same way.

It's not my idea of beauty but I'm not repulsed. I do find myself staring at photos of them a little, sort of "ooh look, a human tree" kind of thing. The deliberate thinning of the skin to enhance definition doesn't help with the almost grotesque musclebound-skeleton look.
Then again, some people think it's awesome. They can fill their boots, as far as I'm concerned :)
I think they are great. The local bodybuilders I have met are really nice people.
strangely when I was much younger I used to like looking at female bodybuilders because of their muscles- I also had a fairly muscular build and I dunno, I guess I was comparing myself to them; I thought if they could look that way and still be accepted as women then so could I someday. I'm talking more along the lines of Rachel McLish (http://www.bodybuildbid.com/articles/msolympia/rachel-mclish.html) than the ones shown at that link though. I was never even close to being that muscular! :D
Even when I was young, I saw women bodybuilders on TV and was mesmerized by them. I felt myself being strongly attracted to them, even while everyone else in the room watching it with me was going "Yuk, that is weird".
One of the many reasons I always felt different from others.

when i was in Air Force basic training we had a body builder in my unit, when he took off his shirt he looked great BUT he could not raise his arms high enough to comb his hair, he had to tilt his head, he also couldn't run very far.
I'm not really into the sport, but I respect the hard work & dedication it takes to make it in the sport. I have to wonder just out of curiousity if it's more harmful or helpful to overall health. Sexualy, it ALL looks great!
i am a gym rat but i havent attained the build of say some of the people in muscle and fitness mag but then again i dont want to either. that level of disipline to me consumes to much of your waking time. i like the fact that i am in good shape given my age and with that comes the ability to do the things i enjoy. i am not repulsed by body builders in fact i admire their dedication to their sport. its just not me

p.s right now my fitness challenge is trying to maintain my definition w/o gaining mass until i start hrt.
I would rather look like that than what I am now..
I am currently looking to boost my muscles to the max. I want to be big but not that big :P
Personally I don't like women with muscles..

Some peeps are repulsed when they hear 'transsexual' or 'transgender'. Who am I to judge? to each their own.
I respect them for doing what makes them happy.
I want to build a little muscle so I can pass better until I start t.
