The annual 'Transcending Boundaries' conference (TBC), a symposium for bisexual/pansexual, trans/genderqueer, intersex and polyamorous people and their allies, will be held at the DCU Center and the Hilton Garden Inn in Worcester beginning on Friday, Nov. 20, the Transgender Day of Remembrance, and continue through Sunday, Nov. 22.
Tristan Taormino will deliver the keynote speech. Taormino is a queer sex educator and author of the book Opening Up: A Guide to Creating and Sustaining Open Relationships. The weekend includes an erotic reading by Celia Tan, a burlesque-themed happy hour, Peterson Toscano performing his new play 'Transfigurations,' and an hour of spiritual observance.
