I got to see myself in a full length mirror, in a well lighted hall, and I suprised myself. i am much more guyish then I thought I was. I thought that I wasn't passing at all, but I really do look like a guy, a young guy.. but a guy. The whole thing with people calling me she.. well they probably know I am so guyish, but they call me she to be "polite" cause I live in a girls dorm.
And you know, when I look into the mirror I SEE A GUY. I see just me.
Also, here in college EVERYONE calls me Elijah, not Maggie. I don't think anyone really knows my name is Maggie.. only thing is on my dorm door, it has the name maggie on it, but it also says Elijah.. and no one calls me maggie, they all call me elijah. it's great.. I mean they still call me she.. but still.
just wanted to tell someone that :)
Eli
That's great!
How about random people who don't know you? are you she/he/it for them? :P

lol that would be an it.. lol. Unless I am in public (as in not at college) cause In public I can be about 90% pass as a 14-15 year old guy whose voice hasn't broken
That's great, how old are you?
Did you see my post in your other thread about looking young?
After T you will probably look closer to your age.

Little things like that can make a world of difference in terms of confidence. Feels good doesn't it?
it feels awesome, oh and I just asked this girl in my dorm to call me "he" and she said sure :D

ah I can't wait until T, I want a happy trail! XD I'm 18, I'll be 19 in march.
I don't mind so much looking young, I just don't like looking young in college cause then I don't pass.
hmm if I can get a job this summer I could save up to get money for therapy/T.. then I could start next year.. BUT would they put me in the guys dorm then.. ugh sorry now I'm talking to myself
I'm getting a happy trail!

Just sayin, I'd happily approach you on my knees to explore that cute bellybutton with my tongue and tell you you're as manly as you want to hear. >:-) >:-) >:-)

unngh Naughty inapropriate man!
Hell, I'm with the dirty one....Elijah is pretty damn hot.
And I know what you mean by the sheer joy of realizing you pass better than you thought you did...I got my first in-uniform "sir" at work today from a customer after I talked with him a few minutes. I didn't think my voice could even remotely pass as male beyond age 12, and my work uniform doesn't exactly add to the masculine look as both the men and women there all are dressed alike. I could've pulled the little old man across the counter and kissed him I was so happy to hear it.

I agree. ;D
Poor Elijah, every thread he starts turns into an "Elijah is hot" discussion.
But it's true! ahahaha... (god i am a creeper irl and on forums...sorry)
But seriously, I envy you. I'm still at the "he/she/it" stage with pronouns. xD
It is true, and there are certainly worse ways in which your thread can be derailed.
Keep in mind that the he/she/it stage is better than the she stage. I was briefly in that stage last summer because I needed a haircut; it was highly unpleasant, but it's even worse for people who can't avoid it no matter what.
Lol, I was with my friend yesterday, who was webcam chatting with one of her friends. The guy was calling me "he" even after hearing my voice over the mic. (Which felt great I have to add) Then my friend started talking and calling me "she" by accident (still on mic) and I said "hey I'm not a she!" She then started calling me "it" just to be funny. The guy looked so confused. xD

Yeah, I guess you're right. I prefer that over being called female pronouns and terms. The ambiguous/gender terms not used phase is still a bit weird. I love it when I get a sir! ;D
