So my insurance plan changed at the start of October, and there's a $500 deductible for mental health visits. Bottom line? Now I can't afford to see my therapist. Grrr.
I take 100 mg of zoloft every day, but I'm thinking of trying 200 mg. Does anyone take a dose that large? I'd love some feedback/advice.
Unless staying with the same therapist is crucial to you, try inquiring at nearby universities to see if their psychology program has Psychological Services Department. They generally use a sliding scale on fees and you MIGHT find you can afford them.
Dunno what your income level is.
My wife used to take Zoloft but I have no idea of the dosage - I do know she switched to Cymbalta and likes it WAY better but everyone is different.
Laura, nice pic!!! Love the necklace on you.
Now back on subject.
Does your insurance also have a co pay for each session? If not, chance are that your therapist will take payments to pay the deductible.
I took Zoloft for a time. Changing dosage or stopping it can have some....adverse affects. I think it would be a bad idea to just go and double it. My friend takes half that and it is affective for her.
