The "Fierce Advocate" for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community in the White House needs to draw a line here. House and Senate leadership need to draw a line here too. LGBT people just cannot acquiesce the enshrining of new discriminatory policies against any subcommunity of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community into law.

Not surprising, however, the rules are being written based on A.M.A. recommendations. This would go against it. Some insurance companies are now covering it for this reason, so would the government's plan. If not now, it would after a lawsuit.

To not allow the necessary treatments, including SRS, would be discrimination against a minority.  Would this not be against the Constitution?
