Great news, Joshua.  Sounds like a good time was had by all.  Thanks for sharing that with us...it's nice to hear when things go well.

Hope you had fun and didn't suffer any "performance anxiety"

NO I thought you were doing an iron chef cooking demonstration!
I played the trumpet all through school, was pretty good I tried out for the Army Band at one point!
I was not a natural talent like many muscians!  I had to practice and work at it 6 days out 7 to stay on top 1st chair that is, what i mean by "on-top" teehee back at ya!
Nice to hear!  Its the small things that build to bigger ones i think!

Making music is a true joy, Josh, I agree (having done it before) and having others enjoy it too is just that much more gravy on the taters!

Good for you!!

Hugs and Smiles and Applause (YAY!)

Speaking of i tried this new product line out they call it sunday mashed potatoes, its like brownish looking mashed potatoes with chunks of onions, peppers, with gravy all mixed in?  these food companies, why can't they just let us mix all that scrap together on our own!

I hate to get off topic, but this reminded me of a product that Jon Stewart showed on his program last night.  I couldn't stop from laughing.  His intro was "Yes, America is alive and doing well".  And then he pulls out this box.  The contents?  Sausages on a stick, wrapped in a pancake with chocolate chips.  It's the new product from Jimmy Dean.  Jon couldn't get off the "and it's on a stick" thing.  I couldn't keep from thinking... "chocolate chips and sausage"?

Oh my... yes America is doing well.  Go knock 'em dead Josh.  Have fun with your music. It stirs the soul to life.

Interesting.  I've tried the ones without the chocolate chips.

food again should have its own thread but the potatoes were actually good, just not something I'd buy?  too easy to slosh the stuff together on your plate if having mashed potatoes of some sort?
The names are the things they are doing to sell food done 1,000 times over- get this one "angry creamed corn mesa"...
What does that conjure up on your taste buds?

That's really funny I like that!
I devoted some of my time to camping although its only in the 50's today I am going out to partially freeze to death!  I may not conjure up anything real appetizing except steaks or something and maybe cinnamon rolls?
