Title: Strohecker's, testosterone, and expiration dates
Post by: Arch on November 15, 2009, 01:11:59 AM
I just got my supplies from Strohecker's--enough T to last me four and a half months. But the bottle's expiration date is in the middle of February. That's only three months away. Have you had this happen to you? Does this T have a short shelf life because it comes from a compounding pharmacy? Is there any real compelling reason I shouldn't use all the T in the vial, even after the expiration date? I'm stumped.

kept in good conditions, cool temp, no uv exposure, sealed container to prevent moisture and oxygenation ect... most meds are good for a while past the expiration date (heat being the biggie when it comes to degrading shelf life)

It might be OK even a bit past the expiration date, but I would just call Stroheckers and ask so you know for sure.  Excellent customer service.

You must have gotten yours from the same batch I did. I called them and talked to Roger. He says I need to call him back close to the expiration and remind him of the situation. Give him a call. One thing I forgot to confirm as to make sure he would not charge me for the replacement amount. I just picked mine up on Friday, live in Portland. Roger said the whole batch came in with the short date on it.
Let me know what he says,
Myles
