Word of caution...think long and hard and try experimenting with the hormones to get natural growth because - THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT IMPLANTS MAKE HARD BOOBS BECAUSE THEY ARE PUT UNDER THE PECTORALS!
Look at a bodybuilder's pix and see that pecs are straight underneath and well separated - the implants will be the same.
Looks good but the muscle over them does make them feel hard in various situations.
I'm sitting typing braless and they feel soft and feminine.
Lying sideways they feel soft, lying on my back and they feel so-so,
but try lying on top of a guy holding myself up with my arms and the pecs have to do such hard work that they make the boobs feel hard.
Natural and hormonal breasts grow in the soft tissue and will always feel soft - and drop with age - but implants unde the pecs will stay fairly firm but alwyas feel hard anytime the pecs are in use.

I like the way you never know for sure where the pain is going to come from on any given day. Sometimes it's deep, sometimes right under the skin. Usually a dull ache but every so often those sharp stabs wake ya up. Viva la Estrogen!

No, it fits fine and I like wearing it during the day. Hrt got interesting for me over the summer, and I stopped wearing nightclothes to bed because anything on my tender developing chest drove me nuts. Well I kinda got used to that and it's a drag now that the weather is changing! I still prefer having them out to in though.
A friend suggested a Snuggy last night, I think I might pick one up and try it.

How many decades do you want me to experiment with HRT? I've tried for over 10 years and it isn't happening. I don't like the idea of a boob job but I don't have an alternative. You can be smug because yours have grown but please understand not all of us are that lucky!

I thought of something else too, I'm grateful for the way the skin in that area is so delicate and soft and the way the "structures" are turning color, though with as much as they hurt one would expect them to bleed.

LOL. Things like that happen in other situations too. For some reason after starting on the Progesterone I don't get the sore nipples as much as I used to on Estrogen alone. The boobs have taken a more rounded appearance. Speaking of bras I need to get me a new one. The one that I have is padded B cup. I live at home so I have to be a little more discreet. I'm thinking a bra with underwire only to give a little lift for the times I feel ornery and want ahem...guys to notice ;)

I had my saline implants replaced by silicone implants, Im now a 36DD, Iv no regrets, best thing I did, I love my girls, they feel very natural, Iv a fabulous clearvage and my BF adores them.

Mine did when they were first growing... And I was like "D:!!"
I started getting weird tangent thoughts from the very act of them doing so...
And they kinda messed with me, cause I know I would hate having a kid, and would never want to inflict the crushing momentum of my family tree upon them... But it crossed my mind a couple of times, cause thats why breasts exist, right?
I can see why it is compelling to want that kind of human connection with someone that is a part of you... But unless gene therapy is available I'd think of it as outright selfish, so sometimes I'm happy I can't have kids (Regardless of how incomplete and "Dry" it makes me feel).

I discovered the worst thing about boobs this morning when I fell out of bed and hit one on my nightstand on the way down. Holy COW that freaking HURTS. The stabbing pain has stopped now and it's just a dull throb. It's weird how they are both throbbing, I think I broke em :(

I don't think I am gaining fat on my belly, I have lost about two stone over the summer, it is just that my middle is staying resolutely male whilst other parts, most notably my legs and increasingly female. I do see some changes, I just want them to be more pronounced.

I'm on high HRT, no belly fat, but the boobs are getting wider. Really, I lost 24 lbs over the last 4 months. My belly has gotten smaller about 3 inches.

Having D's mostly they are in the way. When they were C's it wasn't so bad but somehow the snuck up to D's in my 50's and made a bra a necessity (size and "perky nipples"!)
Taking the bra off at night? To be done slowly and carefully to avoid whiplash!
The only time they are worth the bother is when someone else is playing with them ...... just heavenly! ;D

It's been snowing allot here so riding a bike to the store can be quite an adventure :P

I for one can highly recommend Silicone gel implants under the muscle. They look good and feel very natural or so I've been told. GRS helped with my internal self image. but BA was the icing on the cake. Best $6K I've spent.

There are a lot of women who don't have breasts, NB. For a lot of reasons, some genetic, some the surgery, some through accident. But that is why they make breast forms. And while it doesn't seem fair, it is an option.
I really do feel how you feel. I never thought I would have a bustline, but it did happen. Granted I am not as big as I would like, there is always a BA. And that will make up for the lack of genetics that you weren't blessed with.

Hi Janet and Marie, thanks for the messages. I'm not a fan of breast forms and wouldn't ever wear them. I did nearly go for BA surgery a couple of years ago but then decided to work on what I had a little more first. I want to be as organic as I can be in that department.

Mine stopped growing after a year or so. I barely made it to an A. If you read around, it seems most people get whatever they're gonna get from HRT after a year or two. After that, if you're not content, BA - even with it's less than perfect results - is the only option.
Mine (saline BA) aren't perfect. Or well, actually they're TOO perfect to seem totally natural. But for me, it's 100x better than what I (didn't) have before. I didn't want to be "in transition" any longer than I had to, so I just took care of the problem so I could move on with my life.
If you're truly miserable, sometimes ya just gotta bite the bullet, so to speak, and address the problem head on. No more waiting for perfect solutions, but do what you can with the resources available to you.

I have heard of certain herbal regimens that are supposed to yield pretty good success with breast development beyond what nature, hormones and such have delivered. I'm not advocating, recommending, or promoting this and not sure specifically what combinations work better/worse than others as I've not personally tried them (I'm still waiting to start HRT the right way), I'm just saying that I've seen people report that they have gained a little to a lot with these herbs. (not too sure about how organic it may be, but I would think that herbs would be about as close as you could get to it)

Thanks hon. The pic is about three years old. I've always had long hair throughout my life and never had short hair. It's also a bit longer than it is in the pic at the moment.

Being a married late transitioner with a spouse who finds sex with women nauseating, I'll never have the experience of someone else touching or fondling them. I ask that because I'm on the verge of transition and am, like you, married and middle aged. The single thing I dread most about the process is the pain I will cause my family and the possibility that I will be cut off from my wife and children. On the other hand, when I finally get the body I've wanted for so, so many years, I sure as heck would like to put it to the use for which it was intended ... and for me, personally (and I'm not trying to speak for anyone else here), that would include relationships with men ... and a guy's hand on my boobs! :)
So it's a massive dilemma ... But I can't help feeling that the thing that would make both my wife and I happiest would be for both of us to have a confident, truly masculine man to love and be loved by. Because she, poor thing, has never had that, any more than I have ...

My point, I guess, would be that I don't feel I've fulfilled my marital vows properly anyway because I've been living a lie ... So I'm not sure I'd have the right to expect anyone to stay with me. And - though I don't think she'd be mean or vindictive about it - I'm 99% certain that my wife would say that she's a woman and if she's going to be someone's wife, she'd prefer that person to be a man ...

I ask that because I'm on the verge of transition and am, like you, married and middle aged. At 58, one of the things I have learned is that starting over now is far different than it was even at 40. Both of us realize that the practical facts are that neither of us is likely going to find another spouse at this age. That means if we do separate, our standard of living will be much poorer because we will be alone. My marriage is a second one and my wife was the love of my life.
I eloped with her twenty four years ago which caused both of us to be disowned by our families. We had a very lonely existence with no family contact since. Now, what can be gained by us separating? The little we both earn in the new economy won't allow us to be much above poverty. Together, we have enough to make it.
Plus she is in need of someone to help her as her hip is degenerating and with no possibility of hip replacement, someone will be needed to care for her. That falls to me. I owe her that much because she got cheated by marrying me. The torment she suffered watching me lose the battle against becoming female is my fault. To leave her now would be another blow to her.
That she doesn't love me anymore is irrelevant.

That has to be that most depressing statement I've ever heard. It is also, I believe an incorrect statement. No matter what age, there is always time to hope for something new. Hope is the doorway that leads to fulfillment. You have to start somewhere, and hope is as good as any. If you don't lay the groundwork for something to happen then nothing will happen.

I had no intentions of derailing this thread and I'm really sorry that it has. All I was saying was that I did have wonderful expectations about breasts but got an unexpected side effect too. For the record, I do love them and it is one of my comforts just to give them a squeeze or two.
As for hope, at some point, one does see the writing on the wall and one accepts it. That doesn't mean life is meaningless or horrible, it just means that you have to look elsewhere for satisfaction. At least, I got to live as a female which is a wonderful blessing. I bury myself in writing where I can have the life I missed.

As far as that goes, I wish I had some :) I have only developed about a 34A...barely...I'd call it more a 34AA. No worries though, It doesn't bother me so much as it hinders my ability to fill out clothes properly, since they don't really make clothes suitable for under-developed girls.
After SRS, I'm planning on having a BA sometime later this year, maybe September or something. It depends on how my finances look.
I do have to say though, that being under-developed as far as size has done nothing to quell the development of the...stimulation. I get some powerful almost-orgasms just from my BF working his magic on my girls :)

Keep in mind it's usually cheaper to do both at the same time, since it's one O.R. visit, one anesthesia (which is less of a risk too), etc.

A friends baby went after mine the other night, it was like woah hey easy there whipper-snapper those are just for show ;) I dug out my hand mirror and looked at them from the baby's perspective and the ladies have really filled out undreneath, I love how they are rounding out. However I have to admit I preferred the achy nipples to the deep-in-the-meat throbbing happening now, especially after being around that baby.
I have noticed the filling out underneath too. And I had to laugh at the thought of the baby wanting lunch and you trying to remove the poor hungry baby. You should have given the child a piece of pizza.

I got a new body pillow that satisfies the urge to sleep on my belly. Basically position a hooter on either side of it and lay into it on your side and it pretty much feels the same. I like to sleep that way on my right side though and I'm worried it's going to stunt the growth of my right hooter. I don't know what to do about it, once the ambien kicks in my body is on it's own program.
Ohh.... All this talk makes me envious of everyone that has them and can proudly flaunt them.

The worst thing about boobs! is that my very small boobs look more like man boobs and do not look like feminine breasts.

I rolled over in bed this morning and rubbed my right one and-Hey,it's wider & thicker than I remembered from last week!! I must be crazy or delusional but they do feel like they are growing faster now and occasionally I get a slight 'shocking' sensation from my nipples. Have any of the rest of you felt anything like this? I guess it could be wishful thinking on my part LOL but I don't think so. Now that they are coming on out (even tho it's only a little) I have to wear bras so I can hide my nips and so they won't jiggle so much when I am working. Change is good!!!

A very sour point for me not being able to get them organically! many take it for granted but when you can't get any it is very frustrating, especially after so many years on HRT.
They are the symbol of feminity and the most important asset for them . Its there best friend .
The best thing? That many of us can grow our own. Going through male puberty you don't grow anything new. Things get bigger, your voice drops, and hair sprouts out of your face (:icon_blah:), but you don't get anything new.
Growing boobs is like have little babies that are part of you and that you can caress and take care of. I didn't realize it would be like this and just love it. :)

Thanks for being so understanding? I was under the illusion that this forum was supportive to each other? but this is obviously not the case. Not all of us can achieve a reasonable cleaverage with HRT and I think this point should be taken on board. It is on topic and is a reason for discussion and cannot be percieved as any kind of personal attack!
Now that I finally have some I feel so feminine. I love looking at them and shopping for sexy bras. I will get a BA shortly so I will have to wear a bra! Most of us need BA to get full breasts.

I don't think anyone suggested that every person who does HRT will achieve a full bust. That's the nature of the beast. I have a genetic girl friend who has finished developing and still has to wear padded bras as she's a small A cup.
What I've seen here has been people sharing their personal experiences on the subject, as they will often do in a thread like this. That doesn't mean they're non-supportive or gloating, but simply sharing their perspective. Try to keep this in mind.

I'm sorry, NB. I was speaking of what I have experienced. My male puberty - other than being completely unwanted - was pretty typical. I grew taller when I was 15, my voice deepened around age 16 (which ruined my singing voice), and I had to start shaving regularly in my mid-twenties. Even though mine was typical if a bit slow, each of our experiences is different. I had a male friend who only shaved once in a while as an adult. I have GG friends who are more flat-chested than I am. How fortunate for you that your voice didn't deepen. How unfortunate that you have had such little development on HRT. My non-shaving male friend, my flat-chested GG friends, and you are all within the normal range of development but I doubt that the experience of any of you is typical.

I do it when I'm getting emotional too, not a full on cup and feel but placing my hand at my collarbone where the rise begins and proceeding with the emotional display. I don't know why I started doing that, but I think it's connected to my hooters somehow, like discreetly checking to make sure they are still there and this isn't all some sick, masochistic dream.
Becca, I do that sometimes, too. :icon_redface: I've caught myself a couple of times just touching the ends while talking. My hands seem to roam around on their own now without the constraints of pretending to be a man. I don't think it's enough to be too noticeable but I'm trying not to do it.

For me, when I get older, I'll do hormones but I know positivity sure that I want to get implants...Not to get attention or to blend in more but it's my personal taste and if people have a problem with it oh well! I got implants and still a bit of grwoth from estrogen but I can't get the pushed together look cos the implants are under the pectorals and spaced to far apart..though I find if I squash them into a size smaller they do almost touch in the middle...now I wait for Kyril's response.
Most women can't get it, if any at all. That's why they use a bra to achieve it. a bra which pushes them up and close together!
I was just talking to a GG friend about this. She has luscious large breasts which she shows to good advantage. When I said mine were still too small she said "trade ya!" And when I said I wanted to have cleavage she said to try duct tape. (She was kidding - don't ty it. ::))
