So. . . well, do I pass now? Any advice or anything? If I do pass, how old would you say I look?

And at risk of looking completely gay. . .

Anything would be appreciated. I'm pretty sure I'm not breaking any rules here.
hi silver
age appearence 16-17
picture 1 something ith the eyes but i cant put a finger on it might be just the eye lashes appear to long face shape eyebrows and hair ok but not shore about frontal hair height not sure what young males are wearing other then buzz cuts which i see a lot of bleh..lol 2nd pic not very clear but shirt seams to emphasize hips as it crosses at hip level but not enough that id clock you if i saw you
3rd picture male except for stomach area to soft and hips emphasized to waist line of pants
overall impression passable as long as voice or mannerisms dont give you up in third picture if your shirt was down id say you were 16-17 years old guy
jessica
Yeah, the thick eyebrows help, and the not-too-frowny mouth. Your neck and arms are a bit thin, you seem to have decent shoulder width though.
How long have you been on T? It seems to be working.
I honestly wouldn't be able to see you as anything other than a guy, and I would have a hard time believing anyone who told me otherwise ;)
You pass very well. Skin looks a bit soft, but you definitely pass to me.

I'm flattered, pre-everything.

I guess I pass better than I thought. Thanks.
Picture one passes, picture two, kinda androgynous to feminine, reminds of of my build O_o your hips are not really pronounced and your shoulders are quite wide.
picture 3 passes all but the face, not sure, the angle makes a difference from picture one.
The jaw and chin are feminine, rest - passes.
Edit:
I said hips are not pronounced because it seems to be like all fat and still quite narrower than shoulders.
I think your pelvis is narrow and what looks from the picture, it's all fat at the sides of your belly button which forms the hips, not bone itself. I might be wrong, but that's how I am feeling.
Either way, you'd pass perfectly and with t, muscles and abdominal fat will make your body inverted triangle easy, by filling your waist.

Nope, hips are all bone. I don't really put fat on my hips and thighs. We're the same height and the similar build, odd no? But we're going in opposite directions.
Your face is terrific--you have great features. The second pic says "female" to me--something about the line from your hip to your knee--so either your hips/thighs are a tad too curvy or your knees should pull in a little less. But if I saw a full-length, I might figure you as a guy because of the face. Third pic, you're just a bit curvy but not much. With the right shirt and just a bit less kneeing in, you're fine. I would put you at 16-18.
Any idea when you might be able to start HRT? The sooner the better, usually.
BTW, it should be "Do I Pass" Thread #398, but who's counting?
I'm not sure if you guys realize but you have something going for you, IMO, that we don't-
that is that to the uninitiated, the common "trans" person is ALWAYS M2F
For most of those people, the idea of a F2M has seldom if ever crossed their mind - so they are, IMO, a LOT less likely to have there radar tripped by one of you.
they might read you as a genetic male M2F or as simply an effiminate gay man or as androgynous long before the possibility that you are f2m "clicks" with them.
Maybe I'm wrong - obviously I'm speaking from a total lack of experience. but I've never once in my life looked at a person presenting male and even for a second said to myself "Is that really a girl?"
(barring of course some obvious tell like unbound breasts or something)

Yep, I have woman hips. There isn't really anything I can do about it though, just hide 'em. In two years at best so I'm just hoping I don't feminize any more in the coming years.
Oh, and certainly not me. I considered using "42," it being the answer to all questions.

I realize that, but I want to know if I look like a female. It's certainly a possibility (in face quite likely) that a pre-HRT FTM will be read as a dyke. Or just a girl in boys' clothes. Or another such reason for a woman to be dressed like this.
hmmm missed that one inside joke maybe how is 42 answer to all questions????

Heh. Douglas Adams MUST have ripped that off from C.L. Dodgson. Every time I use 42, I'm making a Lewis Carroll joke. People wrongly assume that I'm referring to Adams. I hate that. Unfortunately, I couldn't get even halfway into the first book, but I can read "The Hunting of the Snark" any number of times.
Guess you can tell I'm a Victorianist. ::)

Didn't know, another thing to add to my endless reading list.
can you put a photo like the second one, but with the face included so we can see all you?
Edit: Oops! almost forgot - Oh and don't put your legs so further apart, put them in more natural position. It should make it appear less feminine too, in my opinion.
Third picture, except for the shirt, you have an 'Elvis' look going on there. Growl. ::)
Lookin' hawt.

You look alot like a young male teenager, but in photo 1 there's something there that slightly makes me think female but I can't figure out what it is. You do have the female fat deposits on your hips & thighs- which sucks, I know.
At first glance and if I was watching you for awhile I'd think teenage boy no doubt. Alot also depends on your voice and mannerisms of course.

When we don't pass we are usually read as butch lesbians.
Sigh. I remember being called "dyke" and "lesbo" back when I was younger. And I was thinking, "No, I'm a f***ing f**got, you ***hole."
I was a very angry young man.
SilverFang, what does your voice sound like? 'Cause if it's in the androgyne zone, you could pass for a guy who's going through a delayed adolescence.

I think it's pretty high, but I seem to pass alright with old ladies
More seriously though, I think I pass alright with people who don't already know me. Or maybe I just confuse them. At any rate, the ones who do read me as male don't correct themselves or flinch when they hear my voice.

Ah, I forgot to answer this one. Lookin' good yourself, Miss. ;)
Lol
Well in my opinion, your lips are feminine in the first pic, your thighs are in the second pic, and your tummy in the last pic.
Your face presents as male, and the last pic reminds me of my 18 yo biomale friend name victor. Your shoulders look broad, and your arms look like if you're trying to build some muscle :)
I think you pass for as a teenage boy. And you know what that is fine I am 40 and everyone thinks I am a 20 year old male. You have no hips and that helps a lot. I honestly believe most of passing is in confidence and not really giving a da**. Just know you pass and don;t care what anyone else thinks and you will be fine. And all else fails pack with something so big no one would ever mistake you for a female (ok that was a joke)
Cheers,
Andrew
