Hi ladies,
I was just looking through the internet and I came across this website called 'Neovae Shop',
they sell products for post-ops like douches, assorted dilators (colours and patterns) and bags.
I thought these stylish dilators could motivate us more with our life long sentence.
http://www.neovae.com/ (http://www.neovae.com/) is the website :D
What a rip off...
(the set I got from soulsource may not be pretty, but it works)
I've got a problem with the term "neo-vagina". It implies that post-operational women are a fake, a caricature of women, a falsehood. The sooner we, post-operational women start seeing ourselves as real, the better it's gonna be.
The only thing that I found particularly interesting on this website was the "soft rubber dilators".
A slightly bendable dilator could be more comfortable.
It would of course need to be firm enough to serve the purpose of actually stretching all areas equally.
On the other hand, this website instructs users to use condoms on the dilators.
This may indicate that disinfecting the dilators properly may be a problem.
Especially in immediate post-op care hygiene is critical.
A dilator made of a hard, impermeable material and a good microbial cleanser might be the best.

Neo only means "new", not fake/false/unreal or any such thing.
I agree on the soft rubber dilator, that could be fun ;D
You can find the soft rubber ones at your local love/sex shop. >:-)
