Title: Peter DeFazio
Post by: Hannah on December 05, 2009, 12:41:26 PM
A friend and I have been talking about Mr. DeFazio lately, one of Oregons representatives in the congress. I just wanted to say you're welcome America. This guy makes republicans run crying home to their mommies only to get beaten and thrown in the closet by their stepdaddy.

After having lived so long in McCain land I'm so proud to be a part of a society like Oregons  :)

(now if it just weren't so freaking cold)

Defazio also sends the faux democrats running too. he was just on Rachel Maddow's show on wednesday or thursday talking about health care and even the stimulus plan. He voted against it since it had too many tax cuts and not enough infrastructure spending, and I mostly agree although I'm satisfied with 2/3rds of the stimulus (state aid and public works projects, tax cuts are not stimulative and that was 1/3rd of the stimulus unfortunately).

he said that Snowe and Collins will eventually vote for the health care plan in the senate and also said that Lieberman and Nelson would also be on board for the 60 votes needed to move cloture.

give the man a committee chair!

Edit: My Rep is Darrel Issa...   I'm SORRY America!! I vote against him every 2 years. all he ever does is propose to name things after Reagan and call 9/11 rescue workers crybabies.

wanna trade, Becca?

We need more folks in high places who put people ahead of partisan politics.

We need fewer people in high places and they need to stay out of the public's life.
