Meet the most non-discriminatory person in North Idaho: Hayden Stern. A first-year general studies student from Santa Cruz, Calif., Stern is the vice president of the Gay Straight Alliance.
Stern's story can be summed up in one sentence - and notice we don't use a sex-oriented pronoun such as "he" or "she" at request.
"It's actually kinda complicated," Stern said.
Stern is transgender.
