I'm an MTF (20 Years old From Australia)
Umm. I've stumbled on this site doing a google search to learn how to make my voice more feminine. And finally, I have found a TG forum. You'll see me around from time to time, reading other posts, and the occasional comment / question. With any luck, I can improve my life to the state that I can actually stand it, rather then act to everyone around me. And to get out of constantly uncontrollable euphoria and depression (Really good Ups and Really bad Downs) None the less, I have been seeing a shrink for over 6 months now, and am at the stage of coming out of the closet to my Family and Friends. I understand that it is a long and tiresome process but once I can speak to my Dad about it, I believe I could tell ANYONE! (Right now, I am having mild panic attacks at the thought of telling my Dad... Although I don't know why, I guess it's the thought that he will never accept me again)
None the less, I will be on here from time to time, feel free to send me a PM and whatnot =]

hi sara welcome to susans its nice to have anouther sister out there you appear to be making progress which is wonderful their are a couple of aussis here on the forum so you should feel righ at home. i am currently 5 weeks on hrt and transitioning slowly as my courage and conviction permits lol

What does it feel like to you? The changing hormones? (Sorry... I have always wondered what it feels like) I imagine what it might feel like, but I don't know. I may be completely wrong lol. =]

actually ive got a running post describing the first 5 weeks in hormone therepy section im going to keep updating it as i go along. for the most part the first thing i noticed is a feeling of calmness or less agitation which to me is a god send it happened withing the first 3 days as far as physical feelings i feel basically the same as w/o them but i have noticed things starting to change skin is getting softer which is a weird feeling i keep touching my face because it feels different and something is going on with my hair but im not sure what it is it feels different to the touch but this may or may not be phycological ill post it in the thread once i figure it out.
