I have braces, they have been on for almost 3 years I think, I get them off in february.
I was thinking, if T changes your jaw structure, is there anyway it will change my teeth? Will I have to get a new retainer made? Will it mess up all the stuff braces have done to help me these past years?

I believe that T changes your jaw by redistributing the fat on your face. It cannot affect the bone structure (unless you're pre-pubescent).
But I could be wrong, that's just my understanding of what I've heard on the matter. If anyone knows otherwise, please correct me. :)

T causes bones to thicken. So your jaw will thicken.
I don't really know about your teeth, I think they'll be fine. But I don't have experience with braces or HRT.

Your head will thicken and change a bit. Bones that don't have growth plates still change at any age.
I think when they say bone thickening they mean density, as in how many cells in the same space, compared to having less/more cells in the space space.
But! the jaw has quite a bit of JOINTS and CARTILAGE, the testosterone makes you form MUSCLES which PUSH the cartilage and bones at the JOINTS therefore shaping it quite a bit.
I saw people with quite a square face but after T their jaw appeared to be quite sharp and feminine instead of angular. This is because the joints did change, as well as fat and muscles.

Well, most of us here are done growing or it almost done, if we were to take it in our early teens we'd probably grow taller or something. Unless I'm wrong on that myself.

Mister was also correct that it can make your feet and hand bones bigger (no growth plates). I wasn't so sure about that but I do know my feet have gotten longer (new shoes time). I thought I'd be too old for those growths to happen but they are. They may not happen to everyone though. They're a bit painful too.

I sure as heck HOPE my hands (and feet) get bigger! My hands are currently what some might call "dainty" and it pisses me right off... :icon_burn:
bigger hands and feet? I hope not, I wear a size 14 ring and size 10W shoes. son wears 14 shoes and sometimes those are hard to find.

i had big hands to begin with, im not sure if they grew. but my feet went from 10.5 in mens to 12 in mens! :o and im only 5'7" :P

Yeah, my hands were already big too. My feet, though wide, are very short so I'm all for bigger feet. :)
I'm really looking forward to my hands getting bigger, my ring size is too small for a guy. My feet are a size 8.5 so they could get a bit bigger but I don't want them to get too big, but my dad's feet just went up another size and he is in his 40's.
I have big feet now (long and wide)...I already can't fit into most women's shoes and have to buy men's shoes (this is without T). I have wide hands and wide fingers (size 10-12 ring, depending on which finger) BUT my fingers are short, which makes my hands look kind of girly. :-\
