I was at the store buying fabric with my dad, and the cashier told the person she was helping, "I have to help this gentleman next" or something like that :)
My dad just looked at me, and we both smiled, and I got really excited, and he jokingly said "hey you 'passed'." lol
did any of you pass today?
*high fives*
Did I pass today? Nah, I rarely go out anymore, lol.

Nice one :)
I am the same way Lachlann haha But I did go shopping with my mother for Christmas prezzies today and got "sir'd" a bunch of times.
Haha, that's pretty much the only time I come out of the house these days too.

And let's hope it keeps increasing.
Grats on the pass!
I had a funny time the other day...went to the endo, and the four nurses at the office were in awe of my tongue ring (I have it gauged to a 4--about the size of your average drinking straw). The one that took my information at the counter knew I'm female-bodied, and called me "she" once...but the other three just ignored her and bounced around saying what a strange piercing "he" had in raised voices. I also passed in the waiting room, having a convo about cars with a couple people in the waiting room. T is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
neat!! grats!!
so your dad is all for you too?

My dad does the same thing when he's with me and I pass. Haha. I haven't passed since I cut my hair shorter a weeks ago though. :(
Congrats!
I pass pretty much all the time now but it is still exciting when something happens that I know I very clearly pass.
I was at a restaurant with my mom and sister(always harder to pass when I'm just with them) and my mom asked the waitress where the bathroom was and the waitress asked if we all had to go. We all said yes and she pretty much walked us over to the bathrooms. Showed my mom and my sister the way and then looked at me and pointed to another door and said "Your's is over there" It is really great when not passing becomes more of a rarity than passing does.

haha a similar thing happened to me, i was at a restaurant with some friends (all girls) and me and this girl got up to go to the bathroom, my friend asked where it was and the waiter pointed to the womens room so i followed her in (still dont use the mens room even though i pass pretty well) as i walked in he goes "oh the mens room is..." and i guess he just decided i was either a girl or i was going into the bathroom with my girl. on another note, congrats for passing, and double congrats to your dad being happy about it
That's a fun experiment you can do.
Go to a gas station or a library or someplace that has keys for the restrooms.
Just go in and say, "May I have the key to the restroom?" and see what they give you. :)
(Outside of the US, they are not "restrooms". Still, I've seen some nice anterooms in women's rooms with couches that certainly qualify to be so named.)
I had a dream that I passed, does that count?

Lucky you, I rarely even pass in my dreams. -_-'
i've had dreams I've been outed in...those suck a bit.
Well, I have a lot of dreams where I don't pass or I'm so worried I'll be outed. And yes they do suck when you're outed in a dream. :(
Hey congrats man!
Its seriously great stuff when u pass. I pass all the time now but every single time i hear sir/mr/gentlemen its just as great as the first time! Ur definitly on a roll now with it and u should look forward to it more ;)

Right on!
We should make this the daily "did you pass today?" thread.
Not technically today, but I had a totally unexpected passing moment the other morning (am pre-everything, I didn't expect to pass!), with a random 8 year old kid while I was walking my dog. :p
He started asking about the dog and we ended up talking about Jaws and James Bond.. He asked how old I was and I said 22, he went ":O I thought you were 15, you look really young!"
A little later on, he'd got off his bike and was showing off his Micheal Jackson moves when his mum came over. She rolled her eyes and said "Boys, eh?", and the kid goes "But he's a boy too!"
The woman smiled at me apologetically and I just grinned. xD
I guess that's why he thought I was younger, bless him. 8) And bless coats and scarves that hide woman lumps.. >>

Hear hear! Don't forget vests.
I rarely pass (too feminine in the face and my voice is a dead giveaway) but i do get less stares now when i shop men's section (used to get quite a few because of the noticeable moobs - they're now hidden quite well behind vests!)
I go to my doc tomorrow so hopefully i'll be on T in a few months (only saying few months because i'll probably need therapist note)! ;D
Awesome! Passing is one of the best feelings; especially when it doesn't happen all the time.
Me? I haven't left the house all month, except to go to the grocery store (ah-ha... fail). So I wouldn't know. I don't get 'girls', 'honey', 'doll', or other specifically female references anymore, so I guess that's a start.
Yay. That is so cool. Best part your dads reaction. Priceless if you ask me. And wasn't it just a few weeks ago you were all angsty about this?
/hugz
That's pretty cool. :)
I wouldn't know whether or not I passed today, since I was directly addressed by any strangers, but I did pass this past Saturday. :)
My little sister had a drama competition at her middle school, and my mom took me and my brother to the school to cheer her on. While we were there I didn't really stay in one place. I kinda walked here and there, didn't say much, but occasionally delivered messages from my mom to my sister.
Overall, the day was uneventful and a little boring. But later that evening we were having a party and talking about how boyish I look at the dinner table, and my little sister told me "At the competition today, some people were asking, 'Hey is that your mom and your two brothers?'"
I wanted to do a happy dance, but I'm not really "out" to a lot of my family. So instead I just laughed like "Ha! That's so silly!"
Later I celebrated. ;)
I sort of passed today. I was standing in line at a bagel shop, and the girl looks at me and says "can I help you sir?" Then she looked at me weird when I started talking, and then called me ma'am while making my bagel, and mumbled that she was sorry when she gave it to me. I think the apology was supposed to be for the 'sir', but I'm going to pretend it was for calling me 'ma'am'
Even though i'm pre-t, I generally pass ok untill I have to talk. being 5'9" and skinny makes a huge difference. Its kinda crazy how often I get sir'd and then ma'am'd by the same person in a single interaction.

Yeeeahhhh...I don't have the pain tolerance for tongue splitting. That and my girlfriend would probably kill me. She was jumping for joy when my boss told me the eyebrow ring had to go.
Me and my little brother went to the dentist today, he walked up to the receptionist desk with me standing in plain view behind him, attention drifting over to the telly in the corner. >> He says we're here for an appointment and gives his name. The woman asks "And your brother?", of course he corrects her saying "Sister" straight away.. and she goes "Oh sorry!".
But that was suprisingly awesome, and my dad turned around and smiled at me. :D
