Welcome Cocoon.
I think you will soon realize joining this group is a great decision. It certainly was for me anyway.
As Janet said, welcome to the family.
Alexie.
Thanks all for the great welcome. I hope to get to know all of you better over time, and I also hope you get to know me. It is nice being in a group which has many shared feelings. It is also nice not having to explain so much with people that understand the situation.

I just wanted to say happy holidays to everyone out there. For some of us who look at the glass half empty, I had found the holidays tough because I would think about family and friends who would have nothing to do with me. But I have decided to have a more up-beat approach to my life. I will instead wish all of you happy holidays. I hope we all get to know each other and can have our own party here on the forum. I will volunteer to bake the cookies (my strength and my vice).
Cookies? You said cookies??
I know what you mean about the holidays, Holly. I resent the pressure to have a joyous holiday when I don't know where to find the joy. I'm happy to have a peaceful holiday with plans for fun things after the madness dissipates.
Now, where are those cookies? :D
