I just said something stupid. I told my Mom I was done with my Christmas shopping and had got something for everybody. And then she said, playful like, "Even me? You got something for me?" And I said yeah, of course but you already know what it is". I didn't elaborate. But yeah, it's the only thing she asked for. But I shouldn't have said anything. Do you think I just ruined everything? :-\
No way. She will be excited waiting for it. She sounded really pleased that you got her something. Getting something you want is the best, and knowing you are going to get it just makes the wait even better.
After I told the person getting it not only what it was, but how much it costs... :-\
could be worse...
(my brother will probably complain about lack of anything, even though he never told me what he wants...)
The only thing I think you did was to heighten her anticipation. She will be wondering till Christmas what her son got her.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, little brother.
Love always,
Janet
Well I reckon most mothers are so suprised that their son remembers them at all, that any present is tremendous.
Don't worry
She'll love it
Cindy
Just think if we never observed the holiday all the problems would be gone.
Go get her something else cheesy and give it to her first. Then bring out the other gift. Bingo, surprise restored.
