Title: i worry WWIII
Post by: Ricki on October 28, 2006, 07:38:26 PM
Again no offenses meant to anyone who is Korean on this site or a member..
But with North Korea getting into this nuclear testing or to gain nuclear arms,
this just worries me as a discharged veteran and with Mr bush in office i dunno.  one radical here or there culd easily trigger an international event?  a bad mistake with nuclear testing could not only kill tens of thousands but it could still trigger an international event!
Honestly when the US invaded Iraq i was soo scared that something on their side like gas or chemcial warfare would be used that would then trigger us to use small nuclear tactical missles which do not believe for a second we did not or do not have them over there at our immediate disposal!
Anyway one of my wordly fears!

Hi Ricki,

This kind of stuff used to bother me back in the 1970's. I've come to realize that everyone with a nuclear weapon is a baboon. They'll be lucky if they even move a weapon several miles before setting it off by accident. You see, they always kill the people who have the skill and the brains to make things work. So by the time the lower educated monkeyheads get to the point of doing something. They lack the discipline and the brains to pull it off correctly.
Most of the bombs won't go off much further than the countries border. It'll create a ruckus and people will gather and complain and talk about it until everyone gets bored. Whoever was responsible, will be told to bury the dead. And it'll be forgotten until next year when a neighboring country of even more incompetent boobs will blow up their own hideout.

In my world, you must learn to depend upon the incompetently prepared militaries that are lead by loser presidents and muhahas. Every one of these nuclear leaders is a loser. They can barely speak their native language. They are barely capable of brushing their own teeth. Most of them cannot read books without pictures. They are so incapable that they do not know how to raise their own children.

If you trust in the fact that all these nukers are retarded rejects from the human race, you will see that they are more likely to hurt them selves rather than hurting whoever thier targets are.

I hope this speech gives you something to smile about.

Hoo!  Haa!

I'm worried as well with Iran getting technology and help from Russia. Korea and Iran may form some type of Axis Power and combine things. South America is turning into and Anti-America hot zone as well.

Hi Lori,

This is going to sound flippant, but I mean it in a postivie way.

Don't sweat it. These things occur in cycles. The media and the US government purposely use this type of thing to keep us from living our own lives in peace. At some point, some intelligent people will get into a position of power and these things will all be settled to the point where they are not as frightening or overwhelming as they are now.

Also, this political upheaval is easy for someone with an anxiety disorder to internalize. All you can do is vote well, write letters, and support organizations that you trust to really try to help with these conditions. Other than that, let it go.

I'm not saying that you have an anxiety disorder. I'm speaking from the position of someone who had to put in the work to get beyond my own severe anxiety. Also, I'm not saying to not think or care about this stuff on occasion, but don't let it get you down. The whole history of humankind is filled with upheaval and strife.
Image being a native american in the west during the 19th century, or being in a city when Rome was in a bad mood, or living in Europe during either of the big wars, the crusades, the inquisition, goths, vandals, the cuban missile crisis - blah. There's always something to stress about. May as well choose your stress according to what is most meaningful to you in your life.

Sorry about the speech,

Just trying to be helpful,

Becky
