I remember hearing people saying the bone thickens and muscles grows and it makes the skull bigger.
To what extent? Do you get bigger/squarer jaws, brow bossing?
Anyone has pre and after photos maybe that is willing to show? or give a close profile and front view?
I'm pretty sure your skull is done growing at a pretty young age...
I could be wrong though.
Your jaw does square out... but thats due to the fat distribution on top of it rather than the bones themselves growing.

How many guys do you know who have a big chunk of fat right under the sides of their jaw making it bigger and squarer? Nope, all of your bones thicken. Well, maybe except the ear bones. The cartilage in your jaw never fully ossifies if I'm correct.
I figure I better leave this to the guys on T though.
When I first started T and put on more weight I did see a change in my jaw and neck area (not so much in the general size of my head though) but I lost the weight pretty quickly and I think I look pretty much the same as before I started. I have a bunch of pictures on my facebook page, an album of older photos from like high school and then a more current album with pictures since I began T.
I can never remember what info I use on my facebook page. I will look up what email address I have it under, I know it's friends only so you'd have to add me. When I figure out the email addy it's attached to I will supply that so you can search for me :)

hmmm I really actually meant the other way around.... females have more fat thus rounded "baby" faces. Thats one reason why really skinny females can look more masculine in the face more easily (depending on bone structure) than medium-skinny females. At least I can say that before T that was true for me. Ive never been out of the range of "skinny" but when Id put on 10 pounds or so I'd tend to pass less well.
That being said I also could admittedly be very wrong. Just want to clarify I'm not dumb enough to think men all have fat that make up their squared off chins.
Okay, well I am not 100% sure on this, while the bones do thicken I believe it is very little and does not really change your face or the rest of your body much at all. I doubt you can even really tell just by looking at someone.
My face changed completely due to weight gain. When I put on about 40lbs in the first half a year of starting T the added tissue for muscle as well as the fat made me look more masculine. I ended up loosing that weight again and am back to the same size I was before I started T. If I didn't have facial hair I'd have to say that there does not seem to be much of a difference for me personally. My face is a little more narrow than rounded but that's just because the fat distribution is different now.
As for the skull thing, it is natural for everyone's skull to change shape a bit here and there from what I've been told. It has to do with the skull plates never fully fussing and then bones add and loose calcium through out their life, hence they get thicker and thinner more than once in a person's lifetime. This is true of everyone regardless of gender.
As a side note, these are just what I was taught, if you know that some of this is wrong please share. I can't recall if this is stuff I actually read or was taught, or just things I picked up from other people. Damn getting old! Haha.
I dunno about bone changes. I doubt it would be anything too drastic, though.
From my own experience, what has changed the most with my head is my jawline and chin--fat has dropped from it, making it more visible. 11 months on T, and the bottom of my face is now clearly an inverted triangle, rather than an oval.

Offense wasn't intended.
I feel like I actually watched my skull change. Gradually, my forehead started to become more square; I actually saw the difference over the course of a few months. None of my old hats fit me; my head has grown significantly since T, and I certainly attribute that to bone growth. As per my jaw, I haven't really noticed that it's squared off; rather, my cheekbones seem more pronounced. But bones definitely do grow on T, and I'll wager it has nothing to do with age; I was 25 when I started, and didn't notice the skull changes until 27.

Strange, I haven't noticed any of my hats fitting differently and I've been on T for two years now. Maybe it was one of those gradual things and the type of hats I wear do stretch some (normally I wear flexfit). I wonder if this is one of those things that has a lot to do with your genetics.
I am seeing my endo tomorrow I think I'm going to ask her what she knows about this issue and I will let you guys know what she says. She specializes in working with transsexuals so she may be able to give a more indepth response than other endos.
