I'm sad to announce that hippi unexpectedly passed away on Jan. 3, 2010 at the age of 31. No information has been released as to what happened.
Those who frequent the Susan's chat would know hippi as a hyper chatter who often had to take 2 minute breaks, thanks to TGBot's flood control, as she'd excitedly share with us her music and artistic works.
She will be missed here at Susan's.
Rest in peace hippi.
:'(
RIP hippi. 31 is way too young to go, but your creative beauty will saty with us always.
Rest In Peace, Dear Sister. Your journey is done. :'(

Hippi seemed a gentle soul - frustrated, misguided at times. but a gentle soul. I will miss her rambling ways and her art.

Thanks for passing the message along Flan.
I'm very sad! (crying in fact) I just saw this and am shocked to hear of her passing last year. We were friends back in '98 when I was in the midst of my transition; we'd talk for hours on the phone, talk in chat and in email. Even talked about flying out to Peoria to meet up (which I never did). I leaned on her when I first had to disclose my trans status to a guy I was dating and she helped me through that nasty experience. She was going through rough stuff too but had a fun spirit I liked. I chatted with her in irc off and on until I finished my transition and then I began to lose touch with my trans friends. I still wondered how she was and then ran into her in irc late in '09, and then we chatted privately to catch up. I don't want to say anything specific but she had changed a lot and I felt very distressed about this. And now I can hardly believe the news that she's passed. I will always remember her from when I knew her best in the '90s...as a poet, as a kind, fun soul, someone I could call up when feeling blue and have a good time. That's the Krista I'll always remember fondly.
Sorry to hear it, I hope she went peacefully.
I didn't get a chance to meet Hippi, but this is sad to hear.
Rest in peace, Hippi.
Sorry I never got a chance to meet her, 31 is way too young. May she rest peacefully.
