Tonight, I went to get coffee with my only liberal friend.
We saw a very masculine female acquaintance of ours, not close enough to say we are friends. We exchanged hugs and Well, apparently, I was "checked out" and didn't realize it..
When my friend told me that (her sister is a lesbian, I guess she knows it when she sees it), she said "Do you ever consider dating girls?"
I told her I was transgendered. Don't get me wrong, I identify with a gay male. But, that question opened the door for me to blurt it out. Finally, someone here, a friend, knows and ACCEPTS it. I have just told one person (I know she won't tell anybody) and it feels SO good. Can't wait to let everyone else know.
Just thought I would fill everyone in on this AMAZING experience. Once again everyone, if you ever need anything, I'm here for ya.

That's great, Brady!
heh heh... the first one's usually the toughest. glad you got it out. congrats :D

Just to clarify - does that friend know you as a girl or are you stealth? It's not horribly important, there's just two possibly very different stories here :)
Clarification to everyone.
Saw my masculine female friend. After me and my friend, P, (not the masculine one) left, P brought up lesbianism so I just blurted out that I am transgendered. My best friend was very shocked (she knows me as a female) but she accepts it.
Does that clear things up even a little bit? lol
Ah she knows you as female - okay, I gotcha. Congratulations, it feels awesome when your friend accept it huh?

Oops!!! Sorry Brady, I suppose that does but still don't see a difference - what about my original last question???
Brady's gay - he's into men, not women and his friend is female.
Dennis
lol thanks Dennis. Gah, I'm just glad at least one person in my town knows.
