take T for 2 years, and then out of nowhere just stop?
And if you had enough money, could someone under 18 get a Metoidioplasty or Phalloplasty done?
Well everyone's body is different but chances are your girly bits would kick into gear and the estrogen would start going back into your system and feminizing you (re-redistrubuting fat, return of the red death). Of course there are permanent changes, deepened voice, facial hair.
If you're under 18 I'd say your chances of getting SRS are pretty slim.

With parental consent.

If you're able to get that much money before 18 than share your secret please. :)
Actually, I'd think most doctors wouldn't do it even with parental consent (CYA). For many of them you have to have been on T for x amount of years, have different letters from several doctors and they do have age limits.
Some permanent changes (voice, hair growth, male pattern baldness, downstairs growth) would remain, but fat would be distributed back into a female pattern, that once a month thing would return (if everything was still intact), lipid levels would likely return to pre-T levels, and sex drive would most likely decrease.
I doubt any surgeon would perform a meta or phallo on someone under 18. The SOC suggests that a person be the legal age of majority "in the patient's nation." While these are just guidelines, I don't think most surgeons are going to look past that one, with or without parental consent.
I agree with some changes may well be permanent after 2 years on T - I was just wondering how bad the atrophy in your internal chick bits would be? Would they regenerate with avengence of E or any thoughts? Would they or your E have mutated? I wouldn't expect to gain ninja powers or anything, but could it harm you?
I think Seb did a few stints on and off T - hopefully he'll be along too.
As for U18 and T for 2 years would there be enough growth to go for a meta? Just coz there's a lot of development going on and all that...
I agree that a surgeon probably would touch an U18 with a ten foot pole, but wanted to see what others think of those Q's...
Cheers

Eh, I just assumed. There are girls who have SRS at 16 right? I guess it doesn't work the other way.
Not many get SRS male or female as a minor. Hell for some it's just a struggle to get hormones.
I can't just stop taking T. I had a hysto and need some sort of hormones.

*ShakeShakeShake*..... Outlook not so good.
But seriously, I'd be having reservations about any surgeon that would do either of those ops on someone under 18.
If the candidate has been on T serveral years by that stage, then they likely still have normal male growing / puberty to do.
I think MTF SRS can be done sooner because females finish puberty (and physical development) earlier than males.
As far as I know it's generally a bad idea to make major modifications to a body while it's still growing.
