Post by: jonjon on January 29, 2010, 05:32:43 AM
anyone else get this pre-t? Not the stomach podge, the abdominal one that usually expanded more according to cycle?

5 days on T and i can already see it backing down!  ;D fantastic!!! I wasn't expecting such results so soon! I hated that thing ¬_¬

Ha! On the other side of the fence we get that "abdominal podge".
It's not the waistline, it's more like being 3 months pregnant.
You can have all your ribs showing and still have that "podge".

Very familiar with it.... Also have the stomach one (teeny bit overweight, but working on it!) Hearing this gives me hope that mine will go away too, lol. ^_^

If it's the one that is 'way down'--like just above your genitals, where the reproductive organs are--then yes.  It was never very visible on me, but I could feel the swelling right before 'that time.'  I can now press on that area and feel no resistance, like there's nothing there.  I suppose that makes sense: the last gyno exam I had at 11 months on T (*gag*, but necessary), the doctor said that my parts had shrunken to the size of what an 8-year-old prepubescent girl would have.

Ah, this is one of the most foreign things about being pre-testosterone. I'm a very skinny guy, but right before 'that time,' if I look down during a shower I can barely see my feet.  ??? It's insanity. And I like being able to see my feet.
So grateful for the women in my family handing down genetics to give me a very painful cycle and endometriosis. </sarcasm>

But I cannot stress this enough- it's just freaking wierd, if you don't mind my language.

I, for one, will never, ever miss those parts.

Definitely.

Yeah, I know. It swells and is painful. Just really uncomfortable and weird. . . it's not supposed to happen.
