First they were lambasted for making Kiwi air hostesses look like drag queens.
Now Air New Zealand's new uniforms are under fire for disrespecting Maori culture with their "misuse" of curly patterns.
The country's national carrier has hit heavy turbulence with its latest set of hot pink, lime green and aqua blue outfits to be donned by staff next year.
Women wear patterns and vivid colours, like that here, but then again close to New Orleans is a high Cajun and Creole population... we all love bright colours.
But this made me laugh, it really did:
Quote...the cougar has "not tasted fresh meat for days" and drags her prey to an inner-city apartment.

I'd wear it, its nice.
the male outfit is survivable but the ladies....yuck.
What on earth were they thinking??? Hideous in the extreme. I will avoid anything remotely like a Kiwi joke here.
what's wrong with looking like a drag queen?
Joke away...us kiwis are an odd bunch ;).
I think the outfits are really polerising, which I think is good design.
Actually its the Maori people who are protesting that their sacred patterns are being exploited for mere commercial gain.
