I just got my first shot of T.
I was anxious right before I got in, but I ended up talking to the doctor about it and it turns out I didn't have to worry. Oh man, it was awesome. Can't really describe the feeling I got when I was injected.
Congratulations man! I know the feeling.
congratz
Thanks, guys, it's been a long time coming.
Best of luck to those still trying to get on T or who have to wait. It's a pain , but it's worth the wait.
Very cool!!! Can't wait to hear about the progress as it comes.
Yep, yep, I'll do updates and all that.
There's a birthday cake sitting on the counter upstairs, and I don't think it's anyone's birthday today... also, my mom said it was like I was being 'reborn' so hmmmmm.
That warms my heart. You sound very blessed with that mother of yours! Well if I have a dink after work today.. What am I saying... WHEN I have a drink after work today, I will lift my glass for your birthday.
That is awesome, I'm really happy for you! :)
Maybe that's why she wanted you to pick a name? So she could write it on the cake?
Haha, maybe it was the reason. She just told me now that the cake is for me.
And Thanks, Karridoll, it's appreciated.
I am so happy for you, Lachlann.
You are not your way. ;D
awesome news Lachlann! I just started on monday with the testogel (androgel in the US). It is a great feeling and it finally puts things into perspective!
And yeah, for those still waiting, stick with it, be patient! It does come eventually and it's something so worth waiting for!
Congratulations!
OMFG Lachlann! You've been waiting for this for a while, and now you're finally on T! I'm sooo happy for youuu! (I started just this month, too!!)

Good things also happen to those who don't wait, and bad things happen to those who wait, and bad things happen to those who don't wait.
It has its own plane.
congrats man
grats! ^^ glad to hear about your mother too! my mother (and other family members) just started getting to know each other and talk to each other finally now that we are more open so I can understand how good it is to have them ^^

Lol, well of course it does. I didn't get on T by doing nothing, I had to do something in order to get it.

Thanks, and yeah it's a lot easier when everyone isn't so awkward about things and a little more open.
I feel really itchy and sick. I think it must be tradition to not know if you got sick when you got T or if it's actually the side effects of the T. Of course it's too early to see if there is any progress, but my throat got pretty scratchy and I lost some range yesterday but it could easily just be a cold.
Just gotta play the waiting game now.
That's awesome man! And so cool of your mom to get you a cake. I know how it feels great to finally take that first shot after a long wait! How does it feel?
Happy rebirth!

It feels... itchy... itchy and awesome.
Thanks Nero!
Because I don't want to make another thread yet, I've actually had a change already... my junk is growing.

Yeah, I totally wasn't expecting it but I decided to check anyway. I think the texture of my skin changed a bit too.
Man this is so cool.

Man this is so cool.
I'm just past 4 weeks and it still blows my mind every day when I wake up that there is going to be something different about my body almost every time I look. Enjoy it, man, its an awesome time and the most fun and the best thing I have ever experienced
Congrats man. As I look around the forums lately a lot of us started T these past few days. I started thursday. I got sick the night after and the following day but i think my sister got me sick not a sideeffect. One will never now.

It's frustrating when you can't tell, right?
I think my voice is dropping, though.
That effing rocks man, I'm crazy stoked for you. The excitement in your postings is getting me all wired, despite being way out from starting T. Keep us posted, I'll have to live vicariously through you for awhile!

Haha, well hopefully the wait for you wont be so long.
I was looking through this thread so I could find the exact date of my shot, but might as well update as it's been bumped.
Word of advice, make sure your shots are on time. I was half a week off my shot due to it being appointment based and I ended up getting my period, despite being on my period when I got my shot. Periods aren't that traumatic for me, more of a nuisance, but I could tell I needed another shot.
My voice did drop a little. I noticed it got weaker before it got deeper. My happy trail seems fuzzier, and facial hair is starting to grow in, though it's still fuzz. There's fuzz growing around my sideburns, chin, under my lip and my upper lip. It's noticeably more than pre-T. I think the shape of my face changed slightly, but it could be that the texture of my skin is different. I get 'morning wood' now.
Anxiety is at an all time low, it's easier to switch off. I feel a lot happier, less prone to anger. I feel like I'm back at a time where being TG wasn't too big of a problem. Bottom dysphoria and chest dysphoria are a little bit worse, it's been a while since I've felt upset about my nether regions. It's manageable, though.
This is my 2nd shot, every two weeks, so we'll see what happens this round.
What about you other guys? I know some of you started around the same time as I did.
Congrats dude!I hope everything will go smooth for u.
I'm getting mines next week!!! ;D

I'm on my 7th week(I do shots weekly) and the changes are crazy. lol I know what you mean about the morning wood. I was supposed to get the red death this past week but never got it, I could feel my body having the hormone battle royale but it never happened which is awesome.
I have a really decent visible mustache coming in that i have to shave every 2 days, and a lot of fluff on my sideburns that is now spreading to my neck and i have chin hairs!
Also my anxiety and dysphoria has almost completely gone away. My chest is shrinking from working out and from the T and it just looks and feels amazing. And I've never had much bottom dysphoria. My fat is starting to redistribute too.

Hi guys, love how we started T within a few weeks of each other.
I'm about 3 and a half weeks on T now and I use testogel daily.
Hair is getting crazy on my legs, more hair on my stomach and I seem to be growing a monobrow. I noticed a couple of days ago that I have a few dark hairs in the moustache region.
Moods were pretty level to begin with but seem more level now. I tend to speak more without thinking now. Before I would normally not say anything if something was pissing me off but now I'm more likely to speak out.
My voice feels very unstable and if I try to impersonate someone with a high voice it just cracks and I end up looking like an idiot. Junk is growing. Neck is about an inch bigger. A quite tight pair of trainers are now very tight. I'm stronger, probably due to a combination of T and working out. Before I could only do a pretty pathetic 5 push-ups, now I can comfortably do 20. Still not great but an improvement.
Saying this though, I'm pretty fed up of applying the gel everyday and I feel the dosage in the gel is not high enough for me. It feels more like a hormone booster than something thats ment to be the dominant hormone in my body. I'm not holding my breath for the gel to stop the periods anytime soon. Roll on April so I can get my doc to put me on injections.
