Oh dear. That can't be enough water for the fish, it just can't.

I don't know that specific piece of equipment's possible output since I don't own anything mac or i-anything.. but I submit the following as Exhibit A1:

http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1200/is_n22_v140/ai_11629019/ (http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1200/is_n22_v140/ai_11629019/)

If the horrible habitat and the sound don't kill it, I'm sure the temperatures would.

Am I getting too analytical about this? Ah, well. I didn't sleep. :P

Even after reading about 5 articles on this thing, I'm still not fully convinced it actually exists...

A fish that size, in that amount of water would die very quickly.

Nice joke though. Possibly.

betta fish are often kept in small amounts of water even in fish stores. They do just fine tho can fish be happy? I would think it is more of survive not thrive. The fish in the ipod thing is a betta or siamese fighting fish.

the reason they are in such small containers in pet stores is becuase of the male aggression towards other males. betta's can survive on that much water just like you can survive in a 4X4 cube; however just because something can survive doesn't mean it will thrive. I've kept bettas before and while they will appear perfectly happy in a small jar, they are so much happier in a 3-5 gallon tank (or larger).

that said, this is about as fake as the kitties in jars hoax in my opinion.
