Question:
What kind of house keeper are you?
Option 1: My place looks like a model home at all times
Option 2: I keep a clean place but also like it to look like someone lives there
Option 3: I'm a bit messy but like particular areas to be clean
Option 4: I'm very messy but will pick up from time to time
Option 5: I'm a complete slob and need a maid... You have to kick your way through the crap to find a seat
Well, I like to keep a clean place but it won't look like a model home at all times
I am most particular about the bathroom and kitchen being clean :icon_chick:

I have order in my mess/chaos, mostly keeping things handy. :)
(I could use to have lots less junk, but considering the house is fill of it...)
I voted: I keep a clean place but also like it to look like someone lives there. I have times when I slack but then I have a cleaning marathon.
My roommate on the other hand is about as clean as a 10 yr old boy.
My apartment was a complete write off, but my brother moved out and now it's basically clean except that the living room is LITTERED with books and some snacks. And my cat. Always my cat.

the same as Mija ;) ...

If it's not clean, I'm bugged. I don't always have the energy to keep things sparkling though. So while it often looks like somebody lives here, it doesn't mean I like it that way!
Flan, I love your teddybear hat, it even matches your dress :D.
I hate clutter and things that look messy. I even wash my cabinets. And Spring is coming. Time to steam clean the carpets, wash walls, wash ceiling.

It's my plush cat owning me like a headcrab. :P (and I'm in a sleeping/lazy top in the avatar)

:o Now that is hardcore :).
Yeah! I was gonna say....Janet you're more than welcome to come visit anytime!
It really isn't that big of a deal, Girls. Especially when you live in a travel trailer. So it is easier than you might think. And even when I had a house my ex and I would wash the walls and ceiling twice a year. Spring and Fall. It is a requirement when you are a smoker.
I've always been a clean freak but since my bedroom ceiling incident (which is still not finished) I'd just said F@%k it I can't be assed, the house is a shocker!!! My bedroom is in the lounge room and meals area, my lounge room is in the back room, until my room is done there no point. But saying that the rest of the house is still good.
Funny timing because today I moved everything into the spare room as my house mate became my ex house mate recently, mmm elbow room!!!
I filled the vacuum up four times after moving everything 0_o
I wold like to think i keep my house as clean as possible. Having 2 very young dogs well over 100lbs each and being winter here right now it's not the easiest thing to do but i try my best. Sunday is my big cleaning day. Cannot wait for spring!!!!!!!
I'm very much, "My place looks like a model home at all times". I guess I'm a neat freak and a germaphobe. Maybe even slightly OCD. ;) My closets are very organized. Shirts arranged by style and then color, pants neatly pressed, etc.. All of my shoes are stacked in the original boxes they came in.
Oh no... I've said too much!! :icon_chick:
One of my big pet peeves is the dog hair, i bust out the swifter daily to get rid of the hair.
I keep it clean but I live there! Actually I have good days and bad days when I just don't care-but then I have to make up for it the next day.

I hear you about the dog hair... Especially in the winter
My dog looks like a carpet with legs when he gets his winter coat on... Seems like I've always got the vacuum and the broom goin' :P
I'm pretty clean, but have 2 young cats, so I stay realistic about things.
I like things neat, but there are piles of books and papers here and there. Still, I don't clean as often as I feel I should. :(
(I shouldn't have read this thread. Now I'll spend the next two hours vacuuming and dusting and washing the bathroom and kitchen and... )

EDIT: Oops. I just read your post, Jasmine. I can usually reach in my closet in the dark and pull out what I want. And I keep the original shoe boxes for when I travel. Does that make me a neat freak? ???
I'm pretty clean, but I tend to let old mail pile up. When I go through the mail every couple weeks is also when I clean other stuff.
I try to keep things looking like we're not complete slobs.
If you're ever over...
Don't look under sofas and beds.. 'kay?
I generally keep things clean and i need to know exactly where my books and music are, but i do tend to litter the place with piles of clean unironed laundry and paper with notes on.
Thank you all for your votes and replies :icon_chick:
I keep my house tidy and clean as I go and once a fortnight I vacuum, clean the bathroom, dust, mop and sweep. The only other time that I will clean up unexpectedly is when I am holding a dinner or a barbecue, then it is another round of cleaning.
Kind regards

Lol  I live with roommates but we usually do a deep cleaning once a week and the rest of the week we just straighten up and clean the kitchen & bathroom as we go.
It depends on where I'm living. The place I'm at now I have no love for, and it doesn't feel like "home" so I spend less time cleaning then I would if I felt like the building was a part of who I am.
