I've heard (here and there) that some people have success using back braces or abdominal binders as chest binders - any idea which ones would work best? The only ones i can find in stores are the thick complicated ones and i was looking for something simpler.
Currently using Frog Bra (which is decent enough) and looking for a cheap(er) other option for when it's in the wash. Or any other ideas for binding D-cups?
I'm currently stuck using abdominal binders. I've found the more elastic, about a quarter inch thick ones are stiffer and don't show as many curves, the thinner binders with more stretchy material (I think it' s post surgical binder) shows more curves of my chest and looks a little more natural.
I've used a couple of the cheap neoprene ones from the fitness section at Walmart. The really cheap, blue one (I think it was about $5 to $7) was too flimsy and tore the first time I used it. They also had a red one for about $10 that worked pretty well. I warn you, however, that they are hot and bulky. If there is any way you can swing it I would highly recommend saving up the $30 (plus shipping) for an Underworks binder. They are so much more comfortable and less obtrusive. Worth every penny, IMO.
P.S. If you Google "Underworks Coupon" you can usually find coupon codes that will save you 10% off your order.
I use an ACE back brace. Not the thick, black one but I use a white one which is one piece. I removed the plastic supports inside it so that it's just the fabric as well as cut off some of the back to make it more comfortable and that binds pretty well.

And I have a large D chest.
wow not a bad idea Osiris!!!! I thought I'd never be able to bind because of the outrageous prices that some of these companies charges for their binders!
Unfortunately the bio women of my family are cursed with big boobs therefor It is nearly impossible for me to even hide these chestiticles!
Thank you for giving me an idea! :DDDD

One of those things where you've got to say "Why the hell didn't I think of this one"
:D Glad I could help.
I keep mis-reading the title of this thread as "Best Abominable Binder". :D Freudian? Could be.

Only the ones with GID. ;)
Good Point. Wonder if Yeti have better insurance policies. I'll have to ask one.
