The fanaticism of the Left was recently exposed in guidance issued by the Equality and Human Rights Commission for public bodies on how to treat transgender people, including ->-bleeped-<-s and those undergoing a change of sex.
In one startling passage in this 68-page document, the Commission warned it may be illegal for any school to require girls to wear skirts as part of their uniform, since this could discriminate against transsexual pupils.
Such an edict would be laughable were it not so indicative of the disturbing mindset of the equality bureaucrats who wield such control over our lives.
The problem for many non-British people is that, they might read something from one section of the British press and not understand the context.
Firstly, the advice from the EHRC relating to school uniform.

Not one mention of transgender.
Now, the response to the attempts by the likes of the Mail to claim there is:

No mention in the Mail article about this renewed guidance. Even though it came out 5 days ago!!
The national newspaper press in the UK takes a specific political stance. It has to be said, that most is pro Tory, while a few are pro Labour and a few pro centre.
The mode of attack, by the Torys, when in opposition, has always been to imply that Labour are a bunch of ill educated louts, lacking the social class to govern. Everything they do is spun to find a downside.
The labour party, when in opposition attack the Torys making silly claims of class favouritism, looking after their friends and so on.
The Mail incidentally, is the paper that, in the 1930s thought Hitler and Mussolini were rather nice chaps.

I'm sure the people who were in charge then still are.

Understand your point. But institutions like news papers tend to follow traditions.
In any case, I'm simply making the point that the Mail has a reputation for such statements.
Recently, a young man who was a singer in an Irish boy band died while on holoday. He happened to be gay.
The Mail wasted np time in publishing an opinion that such deaths are part of the gay lifestyle.
My comments were intended for the US readers so they could make a more informed judgement on anything appearing in the Daily Mail,.
The people I know in Cali who read it refer to it as "The Daily Fail" so I think they got it.
Yes, it is fail.
